Hmm... Do you ever drink in The Ship? If you do then you might know a friend of mine called Steve. He used to work there and now loiters in the cinema across the road. He's about 5'10", broad shoulders, shaved head, big grin, and for some reason everyone in The Ship seems to know that he has two kids:
Me: Is Steve about?
Barmaid: Steve-with-two-kids?
Me: *slightly puzzled* That's the one.
I guess it could be that all the other monikers have been taken by previous Steves. Big Steve, Little Steve, Steve the Wise, and now Steve-with-two-kids is all that's left...
