I is depressed. Thanks to my fantastic job I wore a... black trouser suit today with a light blue jumper over a white shirt and boring black round toed shoes.



Just because of this thread I think I'll get my long line grey suit out tomorrow (trench length jacket) and find a rather fetching blouse to go under sid jacket. And put up with my sharp toed flatties.

Today was too warm to give a fork what I looked like so:
my pajama pants (maroon men's baggies), with a grayish silver silk wrap skirt over, topped with a baggy gold polyester sleeveless top, cinched in with not one, but two belts (one red and oddly buckled, and one woven silver and black leather). Add to this mix high-heeled converse and a tassled hat and you get something entirely inappropriate for gym.

Posting from Sunday because I looked more snazzy then *glares at faulty alarm clock*.
You see, a library dedication to my dear deceased great-aunt required my attendence, so it was requested that I don a hat she had given me. A lovely wide-brimmed hat with tassels. From there spawned a combination of clothes that I like to think of as a time machine of sorts *nod to Mittens*

- navy pinstripe harem pants, worn high on the waist (with black leggings under for respectabiliy's sake)
- very high (and borrowed) heels. I become a giant among girls wearing them, looking down from the ogrey height of 5'5.
- a smallish black shirt with black lace on the neckline
- aforementioned wide and sweeping hat
- turquoise and silver earrings
- dreamcatcher necklace

Downside to looking snazzy and Old-World, however, is lechy photographers. *shudders*

i had a pool party. it was nice.

It's a horrible dress school girls in England are made to wear in the summer term, they are horrible and come in many different colours and are usually a checked pattern.

Compared to that summer dress, mine's not all that bad. We have a zip and the front and the checks are quite big. We're not allowed to wear black tights with them I don't think though, so it's all a bit annoying.

I'm wearing mine right now, and the blue jumper with three sardines (mine are coloured in orange today).

My uniform is okay generally: black trousers, white shirt and a black tie with red stripes. The younger years have red ties and they are introducing blazers, but only those who came in in the last two years have to wear them.

Wow, I've just begun to appreciate my crap public school that can't afford/doesn't want to fight the students about uniforms.
