Misty, you win the "making me google obscene things without realizing while in the public library" award. Use it well
Today I am wearing the new blood/sweat/tears of a weekend, a vision of sequins, bits of t-shirt and blue stretch fabric. I'm rather fond of its funky design, ifimaysaysomyself. I am also wearing a long twirly skirt with bells on the drawstring ropes, a beatnik hat and my lovely doc marts, out for the winter with a vengence.
A construction worker I passed on the street said, "Stop." so I did. He proceeded to evaluate the ensemble, and pronounced me: "Beautiful". Surprisingly, I didn't find it too creepy and went off with a rather lifted spirit.
Hooray for non-creepy construction guys!

Ok kinda breaking the rules a bit...
Today I'm wearing rubbish clothes because I've got to go to work later and don't want to wear anything nice while working in a freezer. But tomorrow when I go to college I will be wearing this:

which arrived this morning. So happy!

I am wearing a new skirt from Australia! It's being subjected to dressdom, though, being too long for me. Worn as a dress it's down to my knees. I've also got plaid pants on, and a black top because it's too cold for strapless dresses. Aaand blue loafers, a wide, cinchy leather belt and red lipstick. Woo.
OFK--is Weird Al difficult to wear? I imagine he'd be quite warm, but you win acclaim from me for managing to balance him all day.

New black cords
Emerald green house t-shirt
My mums tweed jacket with orange lining
Black/red/green/purple shawl
Black trilby hat
Today was that day when you dress like a book character. My friends and I decided to go as the Very Hungry Catapillar, hence the green t-shirt. The jacket's just because I'm cold and it was nearest and the trilby hat just 'works'.

Mmm. Nothing special. Skin tight jeans, socks, shoes, underwear, shirt that says "Normal is Boring" neclace made out of leather that has been dyed green black and beige and then braided together with a really tacky fake amber ring with rhinestones set into it (cuz my aunt gave it to me and I feel the need to wear it in some way shape or form) but the crowning peice is my leather jacket

Mmm. Lamb skin.

Nov 18 2005, 07:54 PM
Black tights into red converse (not my favorite, but they're OK), dark reddish taffeta skirt with very interesting moldable hem, long black turtleneck with a silver scarf tied in a bow around my waist and a red/yellow/green self-knit hat. The security guard outside the main entrance to my school delared me a Rastafarian Christmas Present, and I gave him a somewhat leery nod.

For the record that isn't Weird Al. Mr Yankovich's agent and attornies have filed numerous court orders banning me from wearing the performer, so I have to make do with celebrity impersonators... who aren't as warm, but
are easier to ballance.
Today I wore two pairs of trousers (cos it was dead cold), teeshirt, grey cotton top, big black wollen jumper, two pairs of socks, dress shoes, my big black wollen greatcoat and my black Dick Tracey style fedora hat.
I hate the cold.
Tomorrow I will be wearing my Extreme Cold Weather suit with thermal undergarments. Until then I shall be dreaming of my short time in Hong Kong where I dressed like a Colombian Cartel Cocain Lawyer.

Eye-searing red pants with a tight black skirt over (because the pants are too big for me), wifebeater and cropped black punx roxxor shirt. Black hoodie and socks of a ridiculous thickness complete the collection.

Nov 24 2005, 09:40 PM
Pinstriped black dressy pants (love that crease) and a maroon corset-esque dress shirt thats fitted very nicely.
Pair of mum's heeled sandles which fitted me wrong which later got swapped out with boots

Chandalier (sp?) earrings and greenand black leather braided neclace with a tacky fake amber ring hanging off of it

Thats as dressy as I get for thanksgiving

Nov 25 2005, 03:14 AM
Black turtleneck (with the neck folded down--can't stand those things!) with an interestingly constructed blue top over, paint-stained cargos and one red striped sock. I have pearl earrings in, the only remnant of previous Thanksgiving finery.

Black velvety shoes that make me two or three inches taller, baggy jeans, Camoflage tanktop with lace trimming the top, army green overshirt, and a weird necklace that I made out of a black string and the little dogtag that comes with a pair of converse shoes.
This is the first time since I started growing my bangs out that I haven't botherd clipping them back to keep them out of my way.

Jeans, a pair of my dad's cruddy old gym socks, a black t-shirt with tigers on it, and my bootlegged Samurai Lapin sweatshirt. (I found this site THREE WEEKS after the bloody store closed. I was quite cranky and resorted to an iron-on. I'll send Mata some extra money for Christmas now that the store's back up.

Black peg-legged skin tight pants, teal/green-ish belt from the 'Russian' tunics the military use to use for war games, grey stretchy tank top that looks AWESOME on me, one of my favorite cheap buys ever, and a pair of boots I got at a gun show for $50, yay!
Overall, very comfy, not all too matching though.

Jeans, t-shirt supporting my school, long white socks, sneakers, lucky celtic necklace. The necklace very rarely gets taken off, but it's never broken. Which is far more than I can say for the nice jewelry I got for Christmas last year. I just wore it and it came apart. Bah.

A button-down combo I am very proud of: a white, baggy, see-through men's longsleeve and a small, tight black women's. The overlapping collars look very cool. Also, big harem pants with several elaborations of the "tight and warm" persuasion underneath (two pairs leggings, tight shorts, and knee-highs). Also, large beaten-copper teardrop earrings, doc martens and top hat.

elphaba2
Nov 29 2005, 01:30 AM
I like your clothes too, Kitty. Let's start a mutual appreciation society.
Mostly people will ask if I'm in a play (assuming I have hung onto my costume, I guess), and I have to go,"Not, um, really.." scuffing my toes and all. Though some people can be surprisingly odd about it--this old woman at my church takes personal offense and often reminds me that I look "just terrible"

...but she's kind of out of her mind, so I just nod and wait for her meds to get refilled.
I think more people need to make fun of themselves--clothes are so temporary, y'know? Let's just break free of everything and wear whatever we want, eh?
/vague hippie rant.

Seconded. That's why people should go nuts when they can, because work (or in my case, church and formal events) attire can be so soul-crushingly dull.
I am wearing:
-jeans
-bell-sleeved brown top under
-short tight velvet dress (black)
-a large and hideously patterned (geometric rectangles!

) waistcoat of sorts
-pretty black earrings
-my brother's air traffic controller headphones, pumped with lots of Sigur Ros

Blue poetic shirt, black dress pants, and a belted sleeveless green vest with ripped edges. A girl (who, for the record, I have never met) in the hallway asked me rudely if I was a dyke.

(for the record, I am not). I told her she was a jerk, but it's cast a nasty shadow on an otherwise decent day. Stupid humanity.

You should have looked embarrassed and told her that holding back large amounts of water isn't one of your strong points.

that is so much better than my Idea of just punching her.
I'm dressing warmly today because it's fourteen degrees (F) outside and the windchill is -15. A long sleeve blue pajama top with a white t-shirt with a Union Jack on it, normal jeans and a orange/red tie-dye jacket and white converse.
I've always wondered if kids in the UK wore american flag t-shirts ...

I dunno about the U.K., but kids in Germany wear things representing the different states in the US.... Or atleast they did when my textbook was written <.<
Today: Dressy pants, grey camisole with meshy black shirt over it (which ended up looking rather buisness like) and a new jacket my mum brought me from Germany that closes with hooks and eyes instead of buttons or zippers. The hooks are brass/copper-y colored so I wore some brass/coppery colored earrings and put my hair up in two spriggy bun-like things. Belted the jacket. I had my corset on during the school day too, mm, comfort.
I like spriggy bun like hair.
