I was waiting for it to load thinking "bloody hell, it's taking a while, this must be huge!"...then I remembered I'm at home and so on dail-up....

does it just loop infinately or are there more exciting things like a cloud and a giraffe on a unicycle?

The ending is hilarious

SPS, you can test to see if it loops quite easily... Anyway, it's not a unicycle, it's a penny farthing. I would have put it on a unicycle, but it would have been too tricky to animate, plus this way I get to put in the nice squeaking sound effect.

Giraffes on unicycles is a common image in my head, but the wobbling gait of the unicyclist is quite hard to animate (there's a unicycling horse in the Mr Sb cola animation, which I think I di quite well), so I decided to go for the next best thing to a unicycle: the penny farthing. They're such classic pieces of design, I love them, also they were used lots in The Prisoner which is one of the best TV shows I've ever seen.

Of course, I should probably be quite worried that I think about giraffes on unicycles so much and so often, but I've lived in denial of my brain's oddities for a long time and I see no reason to change now

I was staring at that for a good ten minutes, thinking, "maybe something will happen when the giraffe in the background gets closer!" and then "maybe the cloud will start raining on them!"

I'll be dreaming of giraffes tonight...

I spent the day with the only other Matazone-loving person in my school, just going back and forth reciting that.

I so have a social life.

My brother also nearly laughed his pants off at it. Alarmed, I had to minimize the screen so I wouldn't be forced to see what no good sibling ought to see *shudder*.

yes yes my son, be converted, join the dark side!!! or the light side, or the yellow or the orange side, i guess in the end it dosent realy matter what side you join, so long as you do.

I did consider adding more things to happen at later points, but in the end decided that it would be a lot more work for not much more impact.

Pointless facts: this animation runs at 12 frames per second, my slowest ever animation, and despite it's simplicity it's actually 50% larger in file size than the Hedgehog Game.

I'm going to sue you when I have to get surgery to corect my smile lines!

I was fairly bored a minute ago so to pass the time I knocked the voice of the giraffe up three semitones and heard how it was originally recorded.

Hell that's a sad pastime.

But it was a fun animation.

Oh, I'm sure that it's all an evil plan to hypnotise us. I stared at that for ages, and when the giraffe appeared in the background I got all excited! And then....

My mom got a bit worried when she heard me say "Duckflaps! That's pretty weird!"

I watched it for about 5 minutes before I realized that It looped...

The main loop is only about 18 seconds long... That's quite a few repeats before you noticed!

I put the slower loops in there to distract people from the point that it really was a very short loop, and it seems to have worked! I feel a bit mean, but I'm also really amused

My mum loves it and she thinks Mata has a nice accent.

Does the loop go from 'I used to be addicted to impersonating dwarf nuns' and the last word of the loop is 'That'?

It just seems to jump between 'That' and 'I used to be...'

Anyway, I like it, and even though I knew it was a loop I watched it for ages out of boredom.

After the guys had a few to drink, I showed it to them. They liked the word "duckflaps."

I really do love that painting. It looks like beaten metal. And I would've made a bid, except for two reasons:

1) I'm not paid until Thursday
2) I'm very competitive on eBay, and wish death on opponents. This is bad.

But, on Thursday, I will buy it, if it's still available. I know the auction's ended, but I'm wonderful and you should let me (if you can).

Yeah, Commie and I 'thought' we'd save on postage and packing by collecting our purchases from Mata at the mini meet. Nuh uh. Get it sent in the mail to you. I think it's something to do with the fact Mata no longer has to mail out all the merchandise, so he likes to post the things he sells on ebay to comfort himself.

Sorry, it's already found a loving home with Lolo. She's been donating quite often to my site over the last year, and donated during the bidding. I said that if no-one bid for it then she could have it because she's been so generous in helping keep this site afloat, so it's going over the pond to her.

The words duck flaps has been haunting me ever since it was mentioned in a very unsilly thread that got stoopid. It is a fantastic word which fits many occasions
