Well I doubt everyone likes to do it in silence, there are sometimes of course when you just can't make it to the CD player in time.
There are some people on here with some very good music taste in my opinion, and a wide variety of it to boot. However, there are also some, nay, a lot of horny people here who like to 'get it on'.
Some people might like the intricate melodies of something light for a highly sensual lovemake, or you might like a wham bam to some intense metal. Or a mixture of both?
So ladies and Gentlemortals of the Matazone Forums. Just out of curiosity...What do you like to listen to while having sex?

Hmm. I generally go for softer, lighter music. Sarah McLaughlan, or Aimee Mann. Generally, there isn't any music. Hmm. I think some of Bif Naked's rock love sex songs (like
Religion, for example) would be most welcome.

For guys there really is no physical virginity to lose, but that's not to say that something which is physical should be given more validity than something which is non physical. It's a big event in anyone's life, and although "losing (sbjcts) virginity" was originally a term only for females, if there is no other suitable term for males, then they're going to use that one too. Also using the same term for the same act for both genders points to a certain equality of the sexes, which is interesting...
Yeah, it's still a construct, but that doesn't mean it's a non valid one!

Hmmm.... music to screw too. Generally, I don't have music on because I am teh music whore and would get distracted by it rather than the fine chucnk of woman or man right in front of me. Yeah. I'm a dork, what of it? There've been a few times where I've had music - Phantom of The Opera worked well, as did Mozart, Miles Davis and other such "cool" jazz.

This may just be me - but I think as you get older you don't use music when shagging anymore. Not conciously, if it happens to be on then so be it.
I believe this is because when you're younger and live with your parents, you use the music so your folks can't hear you shagging. I live in my own place now so I can be as loud as I choose.
Neighbours aren't too impressed, mind you...

Eh, yeah. I don't purposely put on music (except for my infamous sleep mix of 7 hours of trance-y music) but that's only when there's like dead silence. Yeah, it's still a construct, but that doesn't mean it's a non valid one!
The state of "virginity" implies a mystical, moral state that someone is in prior to having sex. It comes out of the virgin/whore dichotomy set up by our society. It implies that prior to having sex, you are pure, and sex somehow magically changes you over to impurity. Beyond that, there are a huge variety of definitions for when a person is a virgin. For a heterosexual man, it is usually considered the moment he penetrates a woman's vagina. Would anal sex not constitute the same thing? Or oral sex? Are there varying degrees of virginity? Can a gay man ever lose his mysterious Virginity if he never sleeps with a woman? What if he is never penetrated? Or if he never penetrates? What about a lesbian couple? If they never have penetrative sex (which for the most part, is qutie true), are they still virgins? Virginity is a construct that is based on heterosexist concepts of penetrative-centric sex.
Virginity is a completely useless construct, in my not so humble opinion.

Getting back on topic, I can think of more albums that are really inappropriate than ones that are actually good. As Teapot pointed out, you wouldn't exactly want to have to skip tracks in the middle of coupling.

Mezzanine by Massive Attack is my old fav for doing the jiggy-jiggy dance to.
Miles Davis, Jamiroquai (
Morning Glory of all songs

), Arcade Fire, Rob Zombie's version of
Closer by NIN, Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Like Saucy said, the music played depends on the type of vertical mumba I want to dance to. Fast, slow, soft, hard. In saying this, most of the time I end up enjoying erotic pleasures to any old music, apart from ABBA though, oh and the Spice Girls. That would just be traumatic.
Snuggs, I certainly do play music to cover the noise of knocking boots from the family. But when they arn't about, well there is no need is there? Is there?

The dull guy - looks like a typical american 'jock' and is a twat too, wouldn't sleep with even if they paid me. Girl with glasses (Wilma?) - mmm ok, probably doesn't look after herself 'down there' so would not give head. Daphne - safest bet.

Velma, on the other hand:

Cookie Dough Dynamo (Spank the P*ssy Remix) by Richard F. Part of it sounds like, well, latex... and well, yeah. You really can't do anything to it without cracking up. Hehe. It's off DJ Irene's Phonosynthesis album.
And don't forget Moby, the ultimate fsck song.
And from DDR's EuroMix (Dancing Stage), comes the artist E-rotic with songs such as Oh Nick Please Not So Quick, Do It All Night, and Turn Me On. DDR has lots of songs for this... like Insertion.
