There is a group of boys who go around singing the theme song from that show whenever they get the chance! At least they aren't quoteing Napolian Dynamite anymore...
Last night we watched (we meaning me and my sister) Girl, Interupted.
It was a bit of a chick-flick but the fact that it's based off of a true story makes it even better than it already was. By the way, When the movie store said that it was a drama, they weren't kidding... but a good type of drama, not the Lifetime sort of drama.

I second that! A film I showed no interest in seeing, then I caught it on Sky whilst at my sister's - and I found it to be good.
I've mostly been watching various episodes and extras from the 'Rock Profile' DVD (which I bought on Monday). I loved the show when it aired originally, and the DVD is very tasty.

I finally saw Constantine. (Did I spell that right?)
It was a great movie but I had to watch it with the subtitles on because I couldn't understand a word they were saying! Was it just my TV, or were they really mumbling most of the time?
Also, my mom's taking me to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tommorow because I helped her watch those Evil kids the other day... Our theatere only shows one Movie at a time, so we've been waiting for awhile...

Anyways, Finally added the lastest to my Invader ZIM collection, Got the little box set in the shape of his house with the Special Features DVD in it (Also, Hiddin in the roof was a small Gir red toy, I think I'm having too much fun playing with it X3)

Still loving CSI (Grissom's me hero!), Crossing Jordan is another fav (I've been following the career of Jerry O'Connel since he was in Scholastic's My secret Identity... and on through Sliders [which was good, up until the last couple of seasons, when it became excruciatingly silly...]). I watched Enterprise, till it was cancelled... It was just beginning to hit it's stride! The mirror universe episodes were, strangely, more interesting than the entire rest of the series!

My girlfriend and I went to see that at the cinema. Her comment was 'that looked beautiful but do any of these stories have happy endings?'
Fair point really. Stories with warriors always end with their noble death. One of my favourite Bruce Lee films, 'Fist of Fury', ends in a hail of gunfire. Great stuff!
Of the recent Chinese lavish imports I still think 'Hero' is my favourite. It's got a very interesting narrative structure and once again the cinematography is stunning.

Well,
this appears to be it, apart from the fact it has a different cover to the one I have, came out a year later but the cast list is the same.
Also,
this is the UK link for anyone interested (Although you can get it for £15.99 from Whs).

Same here. My dad has always watched cricket on television, but I have paid no interest in it whatsoever. Even going so far as to label it, "Booooooriiiiing!". Then, I sat down and watched it this year and, after finally working out what the heck the scoring meant, started to enjoy it!
The last things I watched were:
Art School on BBC2, which was good but hopelessly repetitive - in the usual reality/documentary style. How many times do they have to go over a situation before they think we get it?
Will & Grace on Ch4 this morning, whilst I was waiting for time to pass until my step-niece would be ready for me to go and pick up... after I actually managed to get out of bed relatively early for once.
Live At The Apollo with Lee Mack, last night. Was funny, and I enjoyed it.

Ah, CSI is fantastic. I maintain that Las Vegas is superior to Miami, personally. Grissom beats Horatio.
I recently acquired the DVD set of the BBC serialistion of Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast. It's really good - Christopher Lee as Mister Flay and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as Steerpike are both fantastic performances.

My latest fave is Zatch Bell. I was flipping through channels last Saturday night and caught it on Toonami. It seems pretty cool. The characters are cool. There’s a guy, Kiyo who’s an arrogant high schooler, and he’s got this little “mamodo” guy named Zatch who’s his friend, and they like battle other little dudes to become the best “mamodo” of all of ‘em. Lots of wacky characters and weird stuff happening. You can check it out at

On a rare visit to the tele I came across this BBC/Discovery show called "Going Tribal" and I'm fascinated. It's a documentary following a Brit who spends a month each with various semi-primitive tribes to work and live with them. It's really quality.

I found out that they've released some of the Zatch Bell manga from Japan here, two volumes of it. I think the plot is a little different. I'm going to buy them and check them out.

I finally got round to watching the final episode of the 1981 TV series of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and now I understand, appreciate and laugh at most of the jokes, as I was only seven when I first watched it. Absolutely brilliant series.
Aswell as that, I've been watching Lost and remarking on how stereotypical English Charlie is. 'Bloody hell! What the bloody hell was that? Tally-ho! Let us eat scones and visit Wimbledon!'
OK, so slight exaggeration there...
