I saw The Voyage of Chihiro on tv yesterday. I've now seen it in three languages: French, English/American and Japanese (with subtitles).
I want to go see the Corpse Bride and Howl's Moving Castle in the cinema.
I've been watching Scrubs more and more now. It's too fun!

Today was the first night of Sheffield Anime, of which I am a VIP member. We're watching Samurai Champloo, Gankutsuou, Sexy Commando and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.
Samurai Champloo rocks. The art is fluid and engaging, if not particularly groundbreaking, the dialogue is fun, the characters likeable and the music is fantastic.
Gankutsuou is a sci-fi based on The Count of Monte Cristo, though I can't tell how closely having seen only one episode. It's got a really interesting art style, which I can't quite describe. Bit of a slow start, but it's looking to be a good watch. The theme tune's crap, sadly.
Sexy Commando is one of the strangest things I've ever seen. The Sexy Commando defeats his enemies by unzipping his trousers. That's all I'm going to say.
Gundam I honestly find quite boring. I think Power Rangers exhausted my tolerance for big robots hitting each other about ten years ago.

The new season of Nip/Tuck. Go skinheads who beat up trannies because they're having a sexual identity crisis while finding their ex transsexual lover's son's corpse in their bed, but that son wasn't really said transsexual's son, but the son of an artificially inseminated maid they hired to run a family said transsexual abandoned anyway! And believe me, I didn't cover even a modicum of the entire plot with that.

I've mainly been watching lines of code scroll past as I tried to get things in the shop working properly, but when I've had time to watch TV I've been in front of Afterlife (badly scripted, average acting, but with some really good ideas that make it worth watching) and Hex (which is trash, but still exceedingly entertaining, as mentioned in its own thread).

Started watching Weeds on Sky One recently (because it's only just started). It's actually quite funny, a little silly in places but that's what pot's all about...surely!**
Also eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Firefly box set I ordered, I saw most of them on Sci Fi when they had a marathon. but dammit, it only cost £20!

The second series of The Office (US) has proved to be far better than the first. Not quite as cringe-worthy as the British series, but it still has its moments.
I bought the first season of Stargate SG1 recently, after watching the film again and realising how great it is. Sort of. Anyway, SG1 is great. Far better than the Stargate Atlantis spin-off that I've become sadly addicted to.
Numb3rs is carrying on into its second series, and is as good as ever. Still waiting for american TV to sort itself out for Lost to continue. South Park series 9 is showing again, and is still fantastic.

Shamefully, I watched the Thunderbirds movie yesterday. It was quite fun really. I mean, bad plot, bad acting etc, but it was still a laugh to watch.
There's also been loads of documentaries about Ancient Egypt and one with a kind of soap about Howard Carter which was quite fun. Oddly enough, they've been using the same background music for all of them.
Oh and I also watched the ending of 'Stepmom' yesterday, perhaps the cheesiest movie of all time.

I just finished watching War of the Worlds on dvd with my bro. It was better than I had been led to believe. That makes it the only Tom Cruise film that I have ever enjoyed...

The humans are weak and rubbish. And stupid. Especially the kids (bloody kids). Everyone suffers incredibly and you can feel the fear they must be suffering from. Everything goes wrong and there is nowhere to run to or hide.
I loved the original and didn't think it could do it justice... I'm glad I was wrong (in my not-so-humble opinion). I don't think it's better... but still a nice hour and a half or so.

Isn't that the Woody Allen sci-fi film? I enjoyed that one too, although I think I was probably a bit young for a lot of his jokes: I think I was about nine when I first saw it!
Currently I'm still massively enjoying Lost season one in the UK, although I hope that at some point there will be at least something solved, currently they are just piling mysteries on top of enigmas! And no, I don't want to know anything about what happens, I'll just wait and see!

Not sure if this counts, but I just finished watching the Sonic Youth video for "Hoarfrost" and I love it. It's exactly what I would do given Sonic Youth and a video camera, and what I tend to do given anything and a video camera: short, unusual clips of people and cryptic items tossed in at random. Yay.
Also, I'm very excited for the next season of Project Runway, despite Heidi Klum, so I've been watching Tivo'd episodes from last season throughout the day.

I watched
I Heart Huckabees last night which was quite funny. The bits where Walberg flips out are jokes. I liked the random, bits in it. It's about this guy who ends up hiring these existential detectives to figure out a coincidance and a fireman who rides his bike to fires because of the evils and associated evils of petroleum.
I also watched
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at the cinema y'day. I have to admit, it did feel a bit rushed, but then drawn out in places. I'd like to re watch the CBBC (Children's BBC) seris again to see if I am just romantasing it. No doubt the special effects in the feature film will whoop the CBBC version's butt. There was a scary bit though where I jumped! I guess I also find it interesting that CS Lewis wrote out Christian stories using mystical creatures and so I'd be curious to read more of the Narnia books to see if I can recognise other stories from the Bible.
