You should watch the 5 hour version of Pride and Prejudice that was put out by A & E, it puts the one with Kiera Knightly to shame and is actually a movie that stays pretty durn close to the book. If you like the story too you won't even notice that it's 5 hours out of your life. lol

I've been watching Last Comic Standing... It's like my equal to American Idol, only alot funnier!
Izzy
All the boring stuff MTV puts on during the day that people usually miss because they're either at school or work. If I see one more episode of Next, I think I will go insane...
ShadowWolfenNinja
My Dad made me to watch Hoodwicked with him O.o
Izzy
Gah...the local news..stupid T.S. Alberto!

I've been watching the new series of Veronica Mars, House and Boston Legal. Love Thursday evenings. Am still crying about Charmed's last ever episode.

I really liked that film. Just about my level of silliness, and some excellent eye candy! biggrin.gif

We went on a little weekend trip for Father's day and at the hotel last night for some reason, I watched Robots.

It was kinda funny actually, though I on'y got to see the first part of it before we went off to dinner....

I saw Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within today. It's such a fun movie and the animation is very good too.

Treasure Hunters

My whole family is addicted now.

Recently, since I sprained my ankle and was off work for three weeks, I watched the entire first series of 24. I was mildly impressed, though the writers seem to have forgotten what they were doing about two-thirds of the way through. I mean, really, amnesia? blink.gif
Also, I watched all of Scrubs. All of it. *loves scrubs* laugh.gif
Izzy
Family Guy! Lots n' lots of MTV. Oh, and some Comedy Central movies. They show "Almost Heros" way to much(Matthew Perry is such a bad actor in that one!), but "Saving Silverstine" was pretty good. Uhm, oh yeah, lots of Malcolm in the Middle, Friends, and Everybody Loves Raymond.
ShadowWolfenNinja
YAYIGETTOWATCHTHESPIDERMANMOVIESOHMYGEEE!

Yes, I'm very happy. Since all I saw was when Peter got bit in the 1st one, And now I get to watch them!

But 1st, I'm watching the 1st batman. Whee-gees!

I saw the first Omen last night. I wasn't really what I'd expected but I'm glad it wasn't as scary as it was supposed to be. I think that when the nanny was screaming 'Damien, Damien! Look at me! This is for you Damien!' at his birthday party, what a classic comedy moment. It is to be the foundation of many jokes to come I believe.

Amelie, again. I have a huge throbbing love for that movie.

Me too! I keep trying to get friends and family to watch it, but they get too bothered by it being subtitled. If they just watched it, they wouldn't care! Arrggh...

I am currently watching an episode of The Simpsons on Channel 4.

I've just finished watching "Dead Man's Shoes". It's... incredible. It makes you think so much, and... Just... Oh Em Eff Gee. I can't find words for how awesome it is. Go buy/watch it. Now. It's the best thing since Crash (which had the exact same effect on me), depsite the fact it was first released 2 years ago.

What's Dead Man's Shoes about Sarah? I vaguely recall the name...

Last night I watched Howl's Moving Castle, which was good, and I loved the way that the castle's animation looked almost exactly like Ivor The Engine! Older UK people may remember that as being a Welsh cartoon about a train. The author of the book that the film was based on was also Welsh, so I wonder if that had anything to do with the style?

The last I watched fully was X Factor on ITV last night. Alright alright, I know, "blah blah blah commercialist nonsense", "blah blah blah, finds no real talent" but, seriously, some of the early auditions are hilarious! Plus, I believe that one of my singing teacher's pupils went in for it (not sure how far she got, aside from past the initial stages) so I thought I'd watch in case she was shown.

I also watched a little bit of The Transporter that was on Channel 4 last night.

I love that movie! Billy Crystal fits surprisingly well into anime.

Last night was Brick for me. It's a high school film noir that takes itself completely seriously. I liked it a lot, but my family was baffled and irritated at turns. Also, mom was teh freaked out at occasional spurts of violence.

Howl's Moving Castle has the ultimate soundtrack. I think Joe Hisaishi wrote it, I'm not sure?

I'm watching The King and The Clown again. I love the soundtrack for this aswell but cannot find it in any shops!

Dragon's Den!

'tis a fantastic bbc show where entrepreneurs (sp?) take their ideas to a bunch of venture capitalists and the venture capitalists - for the most part - tell them it's a nice idea but totally unmarketable.

A guy just on got really angry when the VCs pointed out his extreme lack of business knowledge, confusing his own money for the business's.

The List Of Films Felander Has Watched Recently:

Ong Bak - An absolutely fantastic martial arts movie. The fighting is so viceral; truly Tony Ja is the new Bruce Lee. Ignore the plot and kick back and revel in the combat. Awesome.

Spiderman I and II - Am I alone in feeling slightly underwhelmed by these two movies? I don't know what it was, but Toby Maguire's portrayl of Peter Parker just didn't hit me right. I think what it was that they made Parker out to be too nerdy at the start of the first film. The action was fantastic - very slick and well done. I did think it was a little too obvious where the CG Spiderman was implemented, but I can get over dodgy CG effects. All in all, I enjoyed the pair, but not as much as I thought I would.

Currently I'm working my way through Twin Peaks. I was told it was like a cross between Lost and The X-Files. Er, no. It has to be the crappest programme I've ever seen. It hasn't aged well, unlike the early seasons of the X-Files.
JimiJimi
Last film I watched was TRON. Haven't seen that in a few years.

I just think that all the effects are stunning. If you've seen the making of, then you'll know how much labour was put into it. It's pretty incredible.
That_Guy
Falling Down.

Not only a social commentary on the deepest level, it's a damn funny movie.
Novander
The new season of Desperate Housewives started last night, so I'm going to watch that some time today. I just watched last night's Family Guy, and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with this season so far. Simpsons is still as good as ever, though.
JimiJimi
Somehow, I'm still watching Lost. Why has the damn thing not finished yet? How many series do we need?

Still, 'tis confusingly...

Confusing.

That should do.
Felander
Currently I'm engrossed in Prison Break, now in its second season.

Also, Lost Season 3 starts next week. I can't fecking wait! *primes BitTorrent*

I watched V for Vendetta last night. To put it as simply as possible -
I now have a new favorite movie!

I'm not that fussed by the Spiderman movies either. The second one is better than the first, but still nothing too special.

Twin Peaks: I think you either like David Lynch's style or you don't. He still makes things exactly like that and if you don't get on with the style then it'll just annoy the hell out of you!

I watched Edward Scissorhands. It's not as fun as I remembered it. Tim Burton movies are fun but are a bit overrated I think.

My friend has recently received Tommy, so I will hope to watch this soon.

I believe they have plans for up to 7 series, but it's probably going to end with 5, or at least...that's what they're hedging their bets on.
Mata
The trouble with a series like that is that it can't make sense at the end because there are too many things that are irrational. Why can you only exit by sailing in one direction? Why can you then not get back in? Why don't the polar bears over-heat? What the hell was that big black smoke thing in the woods? It's never going to 'all make sense' because the events are not logical, so the resolution will have to refer to unknown science, the supernatural, or both - just like Alias did, which was JJ Abrams previous series.
Matthew
I'm a' watching MTV2's 'paint it black day' whilst clutching a big mug of lemsip and sneezing into the duvet!

They're playing any video they can get their hands on with bands wearing black, so I've been watching The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, Cradle of Filth and way too many Marilyn Manson videos!!!!

Aichooo!!! S'cuse me... Sniff!
oobunnie
I just saw The Prestige last night. Bloody good movie. I rarely saw the twists and turns that were coming. Including the sudden entrance of David Bowie in an actual role! He plays Nikola Tesla for those of you who want to keep an eye out, and he even holds his own as an actor in the movie.

Rent and watch What the Bleep Do We Know?! If you're anything like me, it'll change your life.

Rent and watch Pumpkinhead. If you're anything like me, you'll think the monster is bad ass.
