Okay, here's the score:
The Little Goth Girl bags with the sunset-style design from the LGG and the Robot episode and 'This is my world, I share it with no-one' on sell lots better than the other designs, so we're going to try and make some more colourful designs in the hope that they do well too.
The characters I'm thinking would probably suit this treatment the best are Mittens & Snowdrop and Samurai Lapin.
I'm going to be putting together ideas over the next 18 hours or-so, so if there's a scene or line from my animations that you'd really like to see on a bag/T-shirt then now's a very good time to mention it!

Simple black T-shirt with the word "Duckflaps" on front and a tiny giraffe on the back. Or no giraffe. But duckflaps. Please, duckflaps.

"Balls of string have twiney goodness." and "Just as soon as the dust bunnies evolve." are a few of my favourite quotes.

How about LGG on the Space Hopper that'd be cool.
Oo! Oo! and Mr McSqeaky!
And and! LGG goes nuts WITH fire balls!
Ok I'm going to sit in a dark corner and calm down.......
*calmer Cath returns*
The bit in SL 4 where Ozaki goes to the garden to meet SL with the red siloetted movement would work to I think.

I've always like Krark for colour. Perhaps the scene where his eyes bug out. Very funny. Or the swearing about Playstations
Mittens: What about the grassy knoll scene from the most recent installment?
Lapin: Not really sure on this one- perhaps a scene with both bunnies in it?
Favourite quote though has to be DUCKFLAPS!!!!!!!! And I use it in my every day life!

Mittens:
"I'm going into the garden and when I come back I want you to be normal again"
KittyCop "who cares I've got a rocket launcher?"
"Alright lads, aim for the knees"
"mine! All miNe!" From Mittens in Atlantis
LGG: "Ooooh Pretty"

I think "Mine, all mine!" with mittens patting the world back and forth and an evil look would work without the context

I think that just a plain t shirt with lapin on the front and one of the quotes on the back. any of his quotes really, they're all very beautiful. Especially "Not to borrow the strength of another, nor to rely on one's own strength to cut off past and future thoughts, and not to live within the everyday mind... then the Great Way is right before you" Mayeb a bit shorter though. I'm not so sure. I just think that Samuri Lapin is very beautiful.
I'm also all for the 'Duckflaps' thing. Even if not everyone will know the origin, people can interpret it how they want.

Tch, you mean you haven't noticed the rise in postmodern clothing recently? Non sequitur t-shirts are popular these days. Nonsensical and out-of-context quotes are
good.

Perhaps a pink shirt with "Pinkness is one of the basic forces of the universe, after all." I have that one as one of my AIM away messages.
And of course we need Mr. Snaffleburger with "CONFORM. CONSUME. OBEY."
LGG:"we love the ice cream man cos the ice cream man drives the ice cream van"
I agree with PsychWardMike, a Duckflaps shirt would be awesome. Even if no one knew the context. ...ESPECIALLY if no one knew the context.

As much as I would love to have a duckflaps T-shirt I think that I would need to be bigger before I could convince the company that it would be a good idea.

Why not use a few of the member titles?
"Remorseless Posting Machine" has a certain ring-a-ding-ding and "Matazone Acolyte" is not only chic and fashionable, but free advertising! Woo hoo!

Would work well even out of context.
And I'm a particular fan of
"remember kids if your parents don't want you to have these they're probably terrorists"
I use that most days of the week. You could put it next to mittens and snowdrop for an out of context put still sensable picy

Thanks for the suggestions. I've actually mainly gone on the visuals in the end and I've made a few custom images. I'll post a few on here once I've finished them all and had a bit more time.

Would a farmer hitting a sheep around the head with a shovel appear to be cruelty to animals when taken out of context?

Maybe you could have him saying "Argh! A Talking Sheep!" Then it wouldn't be as bad. Maybe

I had been thinking about how to get that phrase working for me. I don't think I want to show Mittens fighting with Jesus, but I might have him on a rocking chair on a run-down porch, strumming a guitar and singing. I think it would be a nice image!

Oooo, I can't wait to see what you've done to be put to T-Shirts. And..this might sound like I haven't been paying much attintion...which MIGHT be true. But where would one get these shirts? Last I heard it was Hot Topic. Is this still the case?

I know its a little late, well quite a bit late but Mr Mcsqueaky.
It would probably work if there's some indication of how he came to be.
Ok thats my little tuppence worth I shall now slink away.
Also on a slightly of track thought, have you ever thought of doing cloth patches? (please don't say you did and I missed it). My Ranger unit had some made up a few years back and they look fantastic. Im not sure how prices change but it didn't cost us too much for a run of about 300.

on a slightly different note; one of the stalls in the market at Download had lgg tshirts and bags... pic may follow, if I can afford to get the film developed!

I think that the "remember kids, if your parents don't want you to have these, then they are probably terrorists" would make an excellent t-shirt as as well as being funny, it is also quite topical to todays society. And you might just get kids asking their parents for them which would mean you could squeeze some irony out of it too

That, or the Clive the Giant Amoeba would make a great t-shirt!

LGG: Nothing's moving with the deal with Hot Topic at the moment for long, boring, and internationally complex reasons. Don't hold your breath for US stockists is all I can say, sadly.
Wyv: Nope, no cloth patches. I looked into it a while ago and coudn't afford the initial layout for the stitch count that I needed. They're priced by the stitch, and everything I wanted was too complicated.
Snoo: 'Nice to hear that they're on the festival circuit!
Daria: That's a good sugestion, thanks

That certainly won't happen on this round, but you never know for one in the future.
