I may possibly have been given too much free time but I'm wondering in the geberal scheme of things what do people do with thier time?
All I ever seem to do is clean, plan things, clean, be domestic, plan while pacing to music, try to get TAFE work done, tidy the lounge room an my room then go to bed.
I don't actually achieve anything over the course of a day and I'm shocked to realise I have no idea what I would do if I had time and money.
So what do you lot do through the day? I'm interested in both large things and the little tasks you do and what you think we on a larger scale should be doing.

Because I'm willing to bet it's not sitting around pondering What people do, What one is
really interested in, Why we're here and What life would be like if there was somone who liked what I like or somone to talk to face to face about things.
Cos thats just a stupid way to spend time and not half depressing when you spend an hour on it and still have nothing but a lot of pondering done at the end.

I work for the summer. I am a receptionist, secretary, and general bitch for the office. In the fall and winter, I am a student. So basically, I ignore the work I have to do, and chill out on the campus. I'm technically an english major, so I spend a lot of my time reading, or pretending to read the assigned books. I'm a chinese minor, which may end up switch to my major, so I putter around muttering things like "Wo xihuan mao"... I prefer cats!

I have found mself in your position before (admitedly without all the cleaning) I find the best thing to do in that situation is not to dwell on it or find out what others are up but to actually get up and do something. Anything. Leave the house walk around
Hell even go to your friends house and sit around and do nothing (its better being bored with company higher chance of something happening)
Because if you dont do anything you just sit there thinking, knowing that you arent accomplishing anything and that leads to serious depression.

Not to get too off-topic, but I went on a rant last night to LoLo about how my brother and I have to watch out for her so that she doesn't get into the wrong stuff with the wrong people. I mean, who's gonna talk to her about sex, drugs and all that jazz? Our parents?
My brother and I try to get her into a lot of the stuff we're into (e.g. music [she loves Godsmack], skating, art [this girl is a brilliant artist]). We turned out halfway descent, so we figure if we bond with her now, she'll (hopefully) want to grow up with similar morals and values without having to get into bad things like me and, to a lesser extent, Rick.
As you can imagine, this takes up a lot of time. It's more of a labor of love and believe me, it's worth it.

I'm a skater and I skate to pass the time away. It saved my life. It gave me purpose. Iy may not be the thing for you, but life is to short so persue your dreams.
