I know some of the subliminal messages in Disney, like the priest that marries the two carachters has an erection during the sermony, in the Lion King it says sex backwards in the sky, in Aladin when the genie is a bee he whispers "Teens take their clothes off". I was womdering if anyone else knew any.

well, these rumors continue to persist. The problem with subliminal messages is that nine out of ten are all in people's heads, and when they are real, the guilty parties pull the product and edit it, making the subliminal message the stuff of legends...

I call urban myth on 9/10 of those.

Snopes agrees with me.

Aladdin whispering - wrong.
Lion King sex clouds - a definite maybe
Priest having erection - wrong

All of the hoo-haa about it has been generated by a wingnut group of whack-jobs who are boycotting Disney movies, because of this so-called 'hidden sexual content'. As you can see from the link I provided - most, if not all, of what they're complaining about are non-issues.

Interesting

Then again, there are the ones that are true, and kinda scare you out of watching Disney.

Like this: http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/rescuers.htm

But the other ones are fun to think about, no matter if they are true or not. You can either get someone neurotic (I've done that) or just have fun going through them and laughing to yourselves.

No, it says SFX backwards in the sky. The SFX team put it in in a cloud of dandelion seeds to make their mark on the film, and were allowed to leave it there.

In "Lilo & Stitch" the social worker's name is Cobra Bubbles, Mr bubbles was the name of a pre-school teaccher who turned out to be peadophile.

Out of all of the ones on snopes, the only one that concerns me is this one http://www.snopes.com/disney/films/lemmings.htm

Even for the rescuers one, it's two separate frames, no-one is gonna see it unless they are looking for it. Animators are always going to do things like that, and so are other people who feel like it or want to get back at disney or whatever other corp.

But you have to bear in mind that that movie was made in the 50's, when animal welfare had yet to be properly implanted into people's minds.

Bubbles was also the name of a character in a Canadian TV show who would always puff up his cheeks. The chance of there being any connection is slim.
