In my boredom this evening, I decided to do a sort of Music Quiz. The link below contains a .zip file with 18 song intros in it. What I want is for you to PM me the Song Title and Artist. The winner will recieve my undying love and respect, and my, isn't that a prize worth fighting for. Cheating of any kind will result in a smacked botty! Yes indeed. It's a very easy quiz, but I hope to come up with something more taxing in the future.

PMs should be sent in the following format.


It's out of 36; 1 point for the Song Title, another for the Artist.

The .zip file is just over 5MB, but bear (hoho! My sides! ¬_¬) with it, it won't take too long to download. To 'play' the quiz, simply download the .zip file to a location of your choosing, right click it and select 'Extract All' (this only works on an XP machine, I dunno about others though) to another location of your choosing. You may them listen to the 18 MP3 tracks on any variety of Media Player gubbins.

I realise that few people will actually do this, but meh, I had fun creating it.

Click on the link. You should get something which asks if you want to download something called a .zip file? Download it to a place on your computer (preferabley somewhere easy to find). It may take a while if you are on a dial up internet connection. If you are using Windows XP, you will be able to right click on the .zip file (it will look sort of like a normal Windows folder) and select 'Extract All'. Select this. Then, follow the extraction wizard that appears. Voila.

I dunno the procedure on machines that use anything other than Windows XP though, I'm afraid.

And I eat my scrotum the way any civilised gentleman would; with a knife and fork.

Somewhere in my house are three CDs of similar quizzes I've done over the past few years at Christmas for my extended family. Two were just general chart songs from the past 40 or 50 years, 70 intros on each CD. The other was purely Christmas No. 1's.

Hmm... I've got 10 of the 18. I think there's only one I don't recognise... the rest are just waiting for my memory to remind me of the titles.

Well, I've sent my answers off now. If I've got them right, I've probably put them in the wrong order as I've shuffled them around a million times after managing to miss ones out by mistake.

This'll be my last shameless bump. The quiz is now over, after being a resounding failure. Thanks to those three who took part.
