Have any of you lot discovered The Dresden Dolls yet?
I had somone lend me the CD 2 weeks ago and haven't put it down, They may even end my placebo freakness*

They're rather nifty, aren't they!

^That would be cool^... aparently they're quite an act to see.

I was just so impressed with their style and sound, It's totaly different to me and is kind of what I was looking for when I discovered Portishead (who are also good) It's surpisingly beautiful considering the subject matter and the other sounds in the music, Can't say I think much of their video clips ...they kind of detract from the songs themselves.

Yay they are finally recording their new album! I want it already, that said I hope it's as good as the first one. If I can't have the album now then they should come to Australia and bring the freaky cool brigade with them so they can perform their freaky coolness and inspire me to run away with them.

They already have 2 albums, 'A is for Accident' and the self titled studio album, although a few of the songs are on both albums they are slightly different, the ones on the studio album being more polished.

They were really good live, wanted to see them at Download too but Nightwish were a higher priority and they were an hour late so ended up clashing

Yes I've heard of 'A is for Accident' but never been able to find it but yeah I want more Dolls. I wish they'd put some more songs on their site.
