So recently, I have been getting accessive amounts of anime.. thanks to www.toysnjoys.com.
I like animation a lot.. all forms.. be it anime from japan, the 3d animation scene, or the more arthouse animation from europe. But recently I have been watching all 51 episodes of full metal alchemist. I'd just like to say... "oooo..."
I won't spoil it unless replies to this post say, "no one cares enough to go and try and watch it". But it's one of the gems in the anime world.
Let's bare in mind, I am an anime snob. I think most anime is very very bad, anime's saving grace is that so much anime is made that if only 1% of anime is good, then 1% of millions of anime series is still a lot of good anime. So for me to go starry eye'd an an anime is quite a feat. So I definately recommend it.
Other anime I like is, Hellsing, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Rah Xephon, Evangelion, Blood the last Vampire, Vampire Hunter D, Gunbuster, Spirited Away, and of course my new Full metal alchemist series.

Any other anime fans around that might want to recommend some stuff?

To save some time, here's anime I have seen but didn't like:
Ghost in the shell part one (I never did like it, thought it was overated considering the hype). Dragonball in all it's annoying incarnations, Love Hina, Sailor moon.. that kinda stuff all gets the narrowed eye treatment.

PS, any londoners want to to come to anime club in london on sundays, it's a laugh

My favorite anime is Ramna 1/2!

I've watched a bit of Full Metal Alchemist and read a bit of 3x3 eyes in French. I've also read a little bit of Ah! My goddess in English. I'm not anime or mangas greatest fan but I like the styles and think that it's fun for a little time.

I am lately watching Zatch Bell all the time on Cartoon Network. I picked up the first two volumes of the manga they released here in the US. Good stuff, a little different from the show. The site is at: http://www.zatch-bell.com

I like anything by Miyazaki, and of course Cowboy Bebop.
