John Peel Day is, correct me if I'm wrong, a year since his last radio show, not his actual passing away.

Novander- I saw some of the older members at The Undertones gig I went to, cry when they played Teenage Kicks. Enough said

I see so many people claim to be Music fans and in fact they like one type of music or one band, John peel is the very antithesis of this. A true MUSIC lover.
