I know of this really cool artist named James De La Vega, hes from east harlem....i was under the impression that he was pretty famous but that could just be in my area. (i live like an hour away from NYC.) he is a puerto rican artist, he doesnt consiter himself a graffiti artist but i guess he technically is...lol. he does a lot of his stuff on sidewalks and walls etc. anyway, i was wondering if anyone else has heard of him and i also just thought i would share some of his cool stuff with you guys. tell me what you think.

Here in the UK we've got Banksy, who definitely is a graffiti artist - in fact I think there are still three warrants for his arrest out. Link to site. He's one of my favourite artists around today.

Banksy has also installed his own exhibits in dark corenrs of museums and galleries to see how long it takes people to notice.

he is that guy who makes crazy looking paintings and puts some kind of a twist in them, and puts them up in mueseums...right?

i think i heard about him on the forums actually... lol if not it was from my grandma
