Im sure i've seen a similar thred around, ah well.

Lost is getting quite good, if your into that kind of thing, and 'peep show' (UK show) is quite amusing to.
Raptor Red

Animaniacs
Pinky and the Brian
Wolf's Rain
Inuyasha (it's to long though)
Stargate SG1
Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Mata
For universal appeal it's got to be The Simpsons.

For pure entertainment I personally rate Lost, Alias, and Stargate very highly but I am very aware that they don't hold anywhere near the cross-boundary audience that The Simpsons does.

Have I Got News For You, Q.I, Futurama, Stargate SG1 + Atlantis, Rome, Family Guy, and that's pretty much it at the moment. I don't remember trying to catch anythng else on the TV for ages.
PsychWardMike
Um... I like a good few, but don't watch too terribly much TV.

Law and Order: Special Victims Unit
Family Guy
The Simpsons
South Park
Scrubs
Invader Zim
Fullmetal Alchemist
Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
The Muppet Show
Yu Yu Hakusho
The Daily Show
Batman: The Animated Series
Superman: The Animated Series
The Justice League/Unlimited
Teen Titans
Jeopardy
Megas XLR

And that's all she wrote, folks. That's what TV I watch, a lot of the shows aren't on, though.
Astarael
Smallville is the only one I have time to watch most weeks. It's a bit cheesy sometimes, but I still have a good bit of fun watching it. I watched Firefly, but it's been cancelled for years and now I have all the episodes on DVD. *purrs* Must go watch another episode when I have time...
fan-diddly-astic!
I don't watch much TV but heres a few i like:

Family guy
The Simpsons
American Dad
I'm a celebrity get me out of here!

Scrubs is great, and I love it dearly.
QI i have never seen *turns on TV randomly chaning channels in search for it*
Family Guy is a legend
Friends is something to watch in the morning
Green Wing was great, when it was on

and Simpsons? You've gotta love 'em

Ah yes, QI is superb. It's one of the few things that can make me laugh out loud regularly. I like 'Have I Got News For You', but the people tend to be very certain of how clever they are, whereas the QI people enjoy the simple fact that they often know very little about the subjects, plus there's the point that Stephen Fry is very clearly enjoying himself, which is so much more fun to watch than dead-pan presenters.

Yup. However at some point in the episode you can be sure it devolves into giggles at a series of homosexual jokes. Yes, Fry. You're gay. We get it. You don't have to remind us constantly. I've started timing just how long it takes each episode.

I love that guy who's always on it... the one with the brown curly hair who acts completely clueless. The one who always comes last and the audience loves. biggrin.gif He must be doing it on purpose. It's great seeing his heart get crushed everytime he finds out that his knowledge is just an urban myth. biggrin.gif Teeheehee!

Alan Davies. He's a great foil for Stephen Fry; Fry has a huge amount of fairly academic knowledge, but Davies has vast stores of cultural trivia. Like you say, it's great when there is a crossover which turns out to be false.

I think that there are often gay jokes purely because Fry has become so comfortable at taking it lightly. It also is a classic British bit of humour: 'Look at the posh person! I bet he's gay! Oo! He really is!' Fry's humour has always be very old-boy and private school in its tone, so now he's just got an excuse to play up to it even more.

And I love them for it. I just wish there was a little more diversity sometimes.

And Bill Bailey should be on it more often. That guy is just amazing.
