Hi
Is this where you post your personal introduction? cause I dont see any other..
I'll post mine here anyways.
Im a 21 years old guy from Stockholm, Sweden with a new found interest of live and all thats in it.
I used to be a hockey player with great changes of reaching the top, but since i didnt wanna spend my days practicing my ass off I started drifting more and more into music and became quite a good guitarist... but I got sick of all the wannabes in that type of profession so I thought I might better get myself a nice and stabile job and became an electrician... when i found out that sucked too I began working on myself and my personality.. Now I am in a great phase of evolving and its scaring, wonderful and educational all in one..
so... im not special in any way or so but i hope i can contribute to this forum just by being the one i've been looking for to be for so long, the one i truly am; ME.

Greetings and Salutations, oh most fortunate of mortals, as you stumble across our small, but impeccably decorated, corner of the Internet.
We hope you enjoy your stay, please keep your arms and legs inside the carriage at all times, the excits are here, here and here, please consider that the nearest exit may be behind you. Thank you.

Hello Mindsurfer! Hope you have a good time here. Watch out for the pink pocka-dotted flying squirrell that roams this forum in search for fresh blood. He tends to shy away from chocolate and fluffyness. Both of these may be purchased at the end of this hall, first door to your left.

Hello there!
The reason for the lack of other intros is that until recently there were rules on the board that meant people had to join in with lots of other threads before they could post their own new topics - and for some reason that rule was applied here, even though I couldn't work out why!
Welcome to my forums, have fun!

It does rock, doesn't it? The Invision board software is miles better than the closest competition.

Hi there! Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Zairarose but I like to be called Rose. I am mature in mind and age and hope I can be of help to others, perhaps by answering your questions, and learning something new.
I look forward to getting to know you all.

Technically bbd won, as she was the first to get to 10 posts, which was always the criteria for getting free before.

post 9 - really need to fit in folks. Bear with me. lol
What?
Feb 9 2007, 10:31 AM
Hello
I went to college with Mata and it's his fault I'm here. I've only had an automaputer for a few months so I'm still a bit dazed when I sit at it to do stuff. I've never had the electrical interweb at work so I can only post irregularly. I'm 30 years old, have two kids and live in Croydon, London. I work for Woolies so I get to look at toys all day.
How are you?
LadyMcDeath
Feb 9 2007, 12:09 PM
I've only known Mata for a few years, but it's still his fault I'm here..
My boyfriend has been around for a little while (Matthew) and I met some of you at Mata's birthday.
Now I've stepped out of the lurking-closet and am officially a forum-type-person - wohoo!

Wait, does this mean someone will free me from the ceiling?
Anyone? I'm awfully hungry and thirsty up here....
Stardust_Smile
Feb 10 2007, 05:28 PM
No one ever frees you... Hmmm these newbies do need training don't they?
When you get enough post counts you eventually become too heavy for the tape and then...
*Watches as blackbeltduck falls from the ceiling and lands in a heap of duct tape*
Aye that's what happens
Izzy
Feb 10 2007, 09:18 PM
*hands you a pillow* 'Hope that fall wasn't too hard. Drink this and you'll feel better. *gives a some really funky looking drink*

Basically that means you've not done anything wrong, you don't have to worry about it unless you're planning on breaking the forum rules.

Thanks, snoo, for the info.
Am I free now?
I'm still trying to find my way around.
I have another question.
Under my image it says 'member', others have more personal stuff.
Can I change 'member' to something more personal?
And if so, how do I do that?

Profile! If you look under "My Controls" you should be able to edit your profile from there.

Like Becky said you can change it under My Controls, however you need 100 posts before you can have a custom title... until then you'll notice it changes depending on how many posts you have (and will continue to change after 100 if you choose not to change it).

Sorry, snoo. That was a slip of the finger. lol
Thanks for the info on the guidelines... But I'm not so sure about the being friendly.... I started a daft thread in 'Daft' and got told off by a moderator - I don't really understand why.
