There were questions/ comments in Daily Life that suggested people were keen to natter about OKGO. So, voila, like magic a thread to do so.

I think I read somewhere that they are planning to be in Europe before wandering to Canada. I did give securing tickets to their Edmonton performance a try but ticketmaster is not my friend.

Yes Mata, OKGO is even able to beat out the invasive work musak when it comes to staying on my mental internal radio. For anyone who cares the powers that be at work never did get the christmas version to play so the same music that has played the last 6 months also played through the christmas season. I used to like Sting's "Englishman in New York" sad.gif

DVD contains:
here it goes again
a million ways
get over it
don't ask me
do what you want (two videos of this song)
invincible
you're so damn hot
what to do
there's a fire
c-c-c-cinnamon lips (from earlier days of the band)
and making of the treadmill video footage.

CD is Oh No. What is the 14th track? Anybody know?

Oh right, they've also a website www.okgo.net

I'm feeling very fangirl at the moment. Unclean. So unclean. Uncleeaaan.

I love Ok Go, I think it kinda sucks that they've only really got recognition lately for the video for 'Here It Goes Again' but they've been around kinda hovering on the edge of the public eye for years now.
I love 'Get Over It'.

According to Amazon track 14 is '9027 Km'

I adore Ok Go. Admittedly I first got into them after hearing "Here it goes again" on the radio, and then I saw the video for it and I thought the whole treadmill idea was amazing.

I'm rather into "A million ways" at the moment though.

I like their first album; it is poppy, but fun to listen to and c-c-c-cinnamon lips gets stuck in my head, even just reading the name.

Umm... I have not much more to say on them, other than SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ^__________^
Mata
I usually have Oh No's songs stuck in my head for so long that I have to replace them with 'Soft Bulletin' by The Flaming Lips. That album can also wedge itself firmly in my head. I tend to alternate between them now, changing whenever one of them drives me too crazy. 'Give Up' by The Postal Service shows signs of holding the same sort of power over my mind too. Help! Too many catchy songs!

So, has anyone actually been to see them live?

The band has won a Grammy for the treadmill video that Narth posted a while ago.
Available very easily for viewing on youtube and google video.
