Way too much money? I wish. I got the 360 because I wouldn't have got my job without it (seriously) and I got the PS3 because I wouldn't be taken seriously by the senior designers without it (unfortunately). I'm now totally into negative money, but at least I can discuss Resistance: Fall Of Man fluently with senior people at work. In theory that will pay me back many times over in the long run.

Yeh my brother does the same and has one of each the most reasont consols. I get the idea if you work in that industry it's pretty much complusary.
May be looking into Warhammer when it comes out and maybe the Connan game to. One of my friends is on the beta test for both and is the one trying to drag me on them so we shall see what reports he comes back with.

War will be alot of fun, but i'll be staying away from AoC (Age of Conan) NOFuncom are a vile company to pay money too, i hate them more than SoE as i got threatening emails and abuse off one off there staff members.

LoTRO is not a bad game the story line is quiet engrossing. But the community is lacking abit to many wannabe legolas not enough intelligent players.

I really don't have time for MMO games. I get to play about 45 minutes a day at the moment, and so it would take me half a week just to create a character!

How about wii numbers?

I've not got one personally, but I suspect it'll happen eventually. The Wii has sold in such massive numbers that all the games developers are suddenly taking it seriously. Frankly, there really isn't a convincing reason to spend two hundred pounds on one at the moment - there just isn't - then again there's not really any fantastic reasons to buy any of the other machines (Crackdown on the 360 is very good, as is Resistance on the PS3, but they aren't good enough). Given how many units the Wii has shifted, and the wide open market for a decent game to sell millions, it's only a matter of time before a really good game is made for it.

I've not got one yet, but I bet I will have one eventually. There's bound to be some good titles in the end.

I've just started playing Guild Wars. It's the awesome it seems, though I'm new at this whole MMORPG malarky (great word, should use it more often) so I'm still unsure about a lot of things. My character's called Aethan Novander, if'n any of you want to friend me/block me/stalk me. I joined a guild called the Crimson Butterflies, and they've been pretty helpful so far.

I've got a wii, and the friends code for that is on these forums somewhere already. I'll try to find it again and stick it in this thread, but right now I'm lazy. Also: Guild Wars.
