Almost all threads I try posting in, I get this 'Sorry, this topic has been locked' reply. The topic isn't locked though.

Err... That's very weird. Does anyone else get this?

I've not had anyone else mention this, which suggests that it's either something to do with your account on here (possible) or something to do with your computer (more likely).

Try logging out then logging back in again. Maybe it's a cookie issue and this might reset it. Yes, I'm making this up as I go along, but it might work!

Still not working... I don't really think it's a computer problem seeing that it's letting me post in here. Er, is my account not aloud to post in certain forums or something? 0.o

*edit* Nevermind.. I was able to post in the book topic. Still not working for the two mentioned in the first post though.

There aren't any different settings for your account - you're in the usual group with everyone else. Hmm.

What browser are you using?

I went and tried it and I'm also locked out of the two topics that Izzy said. I haven't noticed it in any others though.

Firefox 2.0.0.3 / Windows XP

EDIT: Switched to the IE rendering engine in firefox, still doesn't work. I don't have IE thought, so can't test that.

Curiouser and curiouser. I've done a test in the WAYW thread and that works okay for me. I'm going to ponder this when it's a more reasonable hour. In the meantime, please let me know of any other threads in which this happens if you find any.

Using IE from a school computer, which has a reasonably okay connection.

I dunno if this is has anything whatsoever to do with it, but The Duchess was the last to post in both topic. *shrug*

I just tried to post in both of the threads Izzy mentioned and neither of them are working for me.
I'm using firefox 1.5.0.11 on Mac OS X 10.4.9, just in case you needed another perspective :)

I got the same for the self esteem thread, couldn't be bothered to check both though...

The WAYW thread now doesn't work for me. I am using Firefox (the new one). There was also just me in the thread- no guests or other users or anyfink.

Woah! Just tried posting in "What are you watching?" and It said it was locked.

Weird, it wasn't displaying as locked, but I could unlock it. Give it a try now.
