As a side note, she mentioned that the first word of the book is "It" and the last is "triumphant". I always look at the first and last words of books when I read them, but I previously thought I was alone in this. Does anyone else?

No! The brain reads everything you put in front of it subconsciously, even if it's only there for a moment. I avoid knowing as much as possible about the ends of books as I can. If I could avoid knowing how close I am to the end of the story by somehow adding in a load of pages then that would be even better!

EXCELLENT concept. Made me wanna read her book coz if it's as funny as her web site idea then I'm sure it'd be a good read.
