hey guys!
i know i don't visit as much as i should, but recently (one or two months ago) i got a new tattoo that happens to be somewhat relevant to matazone and extremely relevant to me, and i thought i'd share. this is my latest addition:

if you don't know who that is, dayan was a very special member of matazone and probably the most wonderful person i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. i decided since i consider tattoos a very legitimate and personal form of art, i wanted a small tribute to him. of course he'll always be in my memories, but i wanted a visual piece on my body as well - my body is pretty special to me, and so is my memory of dayan. if you can't tell, the location is a little below my left collarbone. the colors don't show up as well as they should in the webcam photo (it was healing at the time also), but they wound up turning out brilliant and bright. it's really a very nice piece of art that i'm extremely happy to have.

my other two are on my wrist, here:

now, i'm not sure if there's already a tattoo thread .. (probably is, whoops!), but i'd love to see yours!

edit: meep, sorry for the weird white bgs on the photos, i'd just lost psp, so i didn't know how to do them right in paint. whoops. tongue.gif

That's some good ink work, and seasonal too now we're coming up for the four year anniversary of his death. I'm not sure if that counts as a 'season'.

There is a general tattoo thread over in Daily Life. It's mostly used for discussing ideas for tattoos, but it's a fairly general-topic thread:

erg, thanks - sorry about that.

and yeah, i suppose it is seasonal. but yeah, i still can't get over what a great job the guy did - it looks great if you see it first hand. perhaps i'll try and get a good digital photo, hmm.
