I hope 2008 helps you achieve everything you wanted, that 2007 has left you relatively unscathed, but definitely wiser from any experiences. Thanks for a great year on these forums. I know it's been a bit quiet because I've not had a lot of time to animate, but the last few months have been lovely, seeing the old faces popping back in.
Best wishes to you all for a peaceful 2008.

Happy new year! It's 2008 here but to the Americans it's still 2007!

Whee! It's like time travelling. I think the last people stumble into the new year in about ten hours...

Happy new year from a fairly drunk Nov, a not very drunk Wytukaze and a on a scale of one to ten, "fish" Daria.
We played Snid. Well, I played briefly and I was already too drunk from playing Dicey Dicey Drinky Drinky, but Becky and Monty played a bit more. Still, somehow, I am more drunk than either of them, even though I am the one that has work tomorrow morning.
James Brow just beat the crap out of Evil Jesus on Wii Boxing and now has a stitch. Daria isn't very energetic.
"Chicken chicken chicken", she says. "Burp." She's done.
Now Daria talks-
Nov is drunk and can't play Snid. The poor fool.

Happy New Year to all.
I figure by the time this actually posts (as my computer is being slower than... well I'd rather not say on a public forum) all will be in the new year.
Things I learned in 2007:
Drinking and Calculus don't mix. at all.
People suck. (already knew it, just learned new ways that they could suck)
Realized that I have far too much talent at playing billiards.
I have no luck at betting on cards.
I can drink an Irishman under the table. Though I generally need to piss like a racehorse halfway through.
Things I want to do in 2008:
Visit two countries that I have not yet had the pleasure of seeing.
Find someone of the opposite sex who can deal with me for long enough periods of time to have a relationship with... that is alot harder than it sounds...
Find and read a new series of books... even harder than the previous one...
Good luck to all of you with your new year. I'll see you after the hangovers subside.

Happy new year folks! I too hope all goes well for all and that many a dream is realised.
I've not made so many resolutions as I've made a promise or two to myself so hopoefully I'll stick to them.

I've only made one resolution, and that's to set up a regular donation to charity once I get a job.
'Watch less crap TV' is a general thing that I'm working on, but I guess that could be added to the resolutions too. This means that unless I absolutely am very interested in the subject, I will not get sucked into 'The best 100 whojimmaflips ever' TV shows. They are far too compulsive and are also drivel of the highest kind.

Spend less money on crud.
Spend more time being a better teacher and actually marking some coursework
Drinking less (or at least more productively)
Possibly join a gym (although this may activly go against the "spend less money on crud" resolution!)
Eat more healthily
The usual resolutions.
Happy new year everyone!!!!

Hmm. No drinking on New Years down here, but my friends and I did get to nurse my druken sister back to health for a bit. I also got my first new years kiss (nevermind we had to sneak my crush out of the house to do it, that's trivial details) and didn't make any resolutions at all.
Happy '08 from Texas, y'all.

I was tricked into a sober new year's in a no-cell-reception basement through which jewish parents flowed freely. Despite these inherent setbacks, it wasn't that bad a night. Just wish there was a little more freedom to party-hop. (/is jealous of the Daria/Novander New Years)
Wahoo oh-eight.

I had a good new year. I party-crawled. And was sick a lot by the end of it.
I don't make resolutions. Calling a promise to yourself a 'resolution' dooms it for me. Nonetheless, I would like to learn Rachmaninoff's 1st piano concerto and Tchaikovsky's too, but that's more of a task than a resolution, so more attainable. It also means that I can procrastinate without feeling the guilt that I told myself I'd stop sometime. Like now...

Happy New Year!!!
Even though I went to bed and totally missed the whole '10... 9...8...' thing. Which didn't matter, 'cos everyone else but one person went to sleep anyway. Still not fun having Sarah go 'Like, oh my god, you guys are such babies' when we woke up. Ahem, at least we weren't cranky babies because of sleep deprivation...

Hello Love, welcome to my forums. Happy new year to you too.
My plan for the year is to get my novel published, but I guess I should try and get a new job too!

My resolution for the year is to get mine written. It doesn't have to be good, I can work on that later, it just has to be written.
