Apparently there was this big earthquake off the coast of Kent earlier today, and we here in Norfolkland just got aftershocks or something. It was awesome. My bed started shaking like a rollercoaster ride and guys.. earthquake! For win!

Anyone else get hit?

I blame global warming

I thought the epicenter was in Lincolnshire.

Here in Derby I kind of half-woke up, moop talked in his sleep but slept through it, and one of his work friends texted him with "I think we just had an earthquake! I nearly crapped myself."

Apparently I either slept through it, or wasn't in the area of effect. I'm guessing it was the latter.

A friend of mine in south London said he could feel it. I must have just been asleep! How lame.

You guys all suck. It was awesome.

And yes, the epicenter was in Lincolnshire, but at the time of posting the only BBC News article up about it was about one somewhere in the region of Kent, I think. Now it's all "Earthquake felt across much of UK", but I'm telling you guys: Forget science. Norwich was where it was at.

I felt it and thought why's a really big lorry going through at this time of night. What you need to also take into consideration is I live in a vilage and there shouldn't be ANY really big lorries never mind at the time of night.
Took me a while today to figure out it'd been the earthquake I'd felt as well. :s

I slept through it. Really weird thing it it was quite strong here (apparently) but my freinds in Cambridge couldn't feel it. But one of them did.

I was on skype with my friend at the time -- all of a sudden I heard him start screaming obscenities. Apparently his friend ran out into the corridor to talk to people about it and forgot he was naked lol
