I had a young person's card until about six weeks before my 30th birthday biggrin.gif

Awesome, thank you! I need to re-new mine soon. Did you know that you can register your Oyster Card to say that you also have a YPRC, and you get 1/3 of all tfl travel too? If you go to a station, they should be able to do it there and then for you. It only started this year and, surprise surprise, has been really under-advertised.

Really? I totally need to do that. I don't need to renew my YPRC though, so sadly I can't take advantage of the offer.
Daria
I need to renew mine, but in April. And the offer is until the 16th or so of March. Hmm.
Mata
I think you can renew in advance.
Daria
I'm sure I can, it's just the thought of missing out on a month's travel that I have already paid for.
Shhh. I know it doesn't matter >_>

/me laughs at Daria.

I am going to get one now, and another just before I turn over 25.

I didin't know that about the YPRC and Oyster. I know as a student I can get 30% off of WEEKLY travel cards and bus passes. But I never need to buy weekely ones as it's more expensive.

*does dance*

Also, when I was looking at the train ticket for me and me fella it looks like his Newtwork Rail Card (n I don't currently have any type of rail card, hurry up post!) can discount both our tickets to Woking and back! But I have to check that at the station on Saturday morning.
crazymat
thanks for the link, I bought one today.

I didn't have one before, but it should come in handy when I visit friends who live far away smile.gif

The renewal should start from the end of your current pass biggrin.gif
