A 16 hour bus trip in 9 days from here to N.Y. The trip is through school and all but Izzy are going. The trip's going to be awesome except for the part were we go to see a broadway show, but besides that it'll be good. If anybody knows of some places to check out, leave a post. Oh and if anybody knows where to find a large enough suitcase to hide an Izzy sized person, that be good too.

Hey, Broadway shows are amazing - give them a chance. Of course you may encounter a few rotten eggs here and there but that's a given. If you come to NY on your own you should see this off-broadway show called De la Guardia -- it's actually quite amazing. It's like being in a rave - it's interactive and so much fun.

If you get the chance be sure to visit the Met - it is amazing. Oh and FAO shwartz -- amazing toy store!

Just like to point out that I saw MacBeth on Broadway last month...

*grumbles about FAO Schwartz being not as good as it used to be*

Eli, Broadway shows are awesome. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I don't really have any ideas of things to see, when I'm in cities like that I prefer just to wander the streets soaking in the atmosphere and looking in little shops and going in cafes and stuff.

biggrin.gif I could probably sit down in that. Just don't pack anything.

Sucks that you guys aren't gonna see that Legally Blonde broadway show. It looked funny.

That reminds me, along with moving this summer, I'm going to go to New York and Niagara Falls, so feel free to recommend things that wouldn't exactly seem like something you'd have to do on a "field trip".

Niagara Falls is amazing, it's one of those things that, no matter how many pictures or whatever you see, when you actually see it it's still incredible. But the town of Niagara is a sh*thole. Really tacky and eww. Also, make sure you see the falls from the Canada side, it's much better.

I think she said that the show was innapropriate (sp?) because they make this half hour part singing about how that one guy is gay.
