I had to make some portraits for an art lesson, but being crappy, never took the photos to paint/draw. But it was all ok, because Witless let me use some photos that he had taken, and I painted them. Finally I've got my art back from school (about a year and a bit later..), so here is a little bit of it.

This was a monochromatic study, so we took a primary colour then mixed it with white, greys and finally black, but I accidentally used pink as opposed to red for the first. Oh well. I quite like these, quite dynamic.

http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq300/e...e3/DSC00421.jpg If you cover up the light half of the face, then it looks reasonably sensible, if you don't then it's just embarrassing. Also the background needs redoing to make it smooth. Also, I'm not sure why I'm yellow. Everyone was doing it in unrealistic colours so I just thought 'ok I'll do yellow'. I don't think that was a good idea, I should have just done it in true colour.
