So, my boy (Michael) ended up moving into his friend's house right as said friend moved out. Three of the friend's cats had kittens soon after, and that left michael with quite a lot of kittens.
So, with Michael moving, I decided to take one home.
He's left now, and I realised the kitten still has no name.
Originally, her name was Izzy.
But this cat is way too crazy to have a name like Isabelle.
So. She's a Calico. Extremely fluffy. She's a freaking ninja when it comes to climbing and enjoys chewing on my earlobe while I try to sleep. She meows until I start petting her, and enjoys sitting on my shoulder or head while I'm on the computer. I want a spunky name for her, as my other two pets are named Xena and Zubrea, and she's got to fit in.

Names?

I used to have an extremely fluffy ninja calico who was named Agnes. I went through a phase of giving all of my pets old woman names.
I agree with Vic -- we need a photo if we're going to help you name her!

My mom's friend who lived with us for a while like... 8?... years ago had a cat named Kisa. If I recall correctly, that means 'cat' in Lithuanian.
Name it Cat in like Greek or something.
Usurper MrTeapot
Jun 30 2009, 01:51 PM
Oh, you can't call it Fish, my friend has just named their hamster Fish and it would be confusing to all parties involved.
I suggest Epsilon or other Greek letters.

Oh yay, you'd not be offended by me calling your dog, Dog, your cat, Cat or your snake, Snake and so on.
Erm... name it after a food or summit? My guinea pig's real name is Sherbet but his nick name is Wilbur, his brother is Marshmallow (but we call him Squirrel because he looks like a squirrel), his female cousins are Liquorish and Muffin. Their predecessors were Fudge and Brownie. I totally think you should name the kitty summit foody like Pavlova or Coconut Cake. But of course we needs pics

Mata - It's funny you'd say that, the though passed my head right before I clicked on the thread.

My mom really likes the name Cleopatra, Cleo for short...opinions?

Hatshepsut. Hattie for short. Still Egyptian, but doesn't have the Miss Cleo and "Cleopatra, comin' at ya" associations. You're probably too young to remember the latter. Thank your lucky stars that you are.

Jul 8 2009, 10:02 PM
! Spunk! A combination of spiky and punk, makes you think of naughty things (though not related to the cat) and also means spirit.

Gah, that sounds so familar but I can't remember what it's from.
Izzy - Spunk would be awesome, were that not a slang term for...well...yeah.
Patra is pretty cool, I might go with that.
It just has to be a name that everyone agrees on. Were it up to me, I totally would have named her Schrodinger.

Patra sounds cool. Can call her Patti for short if you wanted to

Just thought of couple more names that might work for your kitty as well! If your little lady is a very eccentric little princess, you could consider calling her Prima short for Primadonna or Diva!
Maybe also the name Venus because she looks like a Venus to me...perhaps Prima Venus?

Ya, Roxanne is awesome but Roxy has that somewhat unfortunate problem of being associated with ditzy girls who think they look good in tight surfer clothes that then stole the name for some really skanky clothes...
I'm sorry, but does anyone else think that they have a bit of a problem?
I do link Patra though...
