Hmmm... it's an interestin point... I guess there are some spurious "random" threads that are OK to spam a little bit (but only if they're headin that way) an the obvious spam threads... but I hafta agree that spammin the serious threads shouldn't be done. I know sometimes conversations spring up in em, which is fine, but outright spam shouldn't be tolerated.

So... jus to kick this idea around a bit... does anyone think we should have a separate section fer serious topics, away from General Chat?

I noticed! Seven pages of unread posts from 5 days absence!!! I gave up after a while, it was too darn much!

Seriously though (an this goes fer everyone), if there's a serious thread an people think it's gettin spammed too much, we moddies can try an clear out the detritus if there's strong enough feelin to do it.

Potentially, yes. But we could politely ask 'em not to spam the threads in there...

If it gets too much then they could be "cleansed" of spam if enough people complain to one o the moddy team... I mean, I'm happy to take on such a burden *sharpens spam axe*
