Well, it started to get talked about, so just curious. I had this discussion with my friend once, and she had a scary conclusion. It seems more and more that the really intelligent people in the world don't want to have kids (for a variety of reasons), where the lesser inteligent and "average" people have way to many. So the worlds still getting more and more overpopulated, but with dumber and dumber people....
Oh well, I don't want kids because i don't have the patients and they're to expensive. I plan on living a upper middle class life, buying lots of luxuries, though living in a small home with just me and my wife. We'd also go on cruises and other vacations a lot. Thats the life I want to live anyways, and kids would put a large kink in that plan....

I'm leaving the decision entirely down to my better half, as I am (currently) undecided.

1) a career that pays
2) a woman who hates herself enough to marry me yet is well ajusted enought to be a good parent and earner
3) a therapist i see twice a week
4) the knowledge that "wife" will never cheat on me and break up the marrige and destroy childs life (what with her being dead and me being in jail)
5) more money
6) a big house in a good neighbourhood
7) the knowledge that i can rely on my parents
8) maturity
9) the knowledge that "I" will never cheat on my partner and break up the marrige and destroy childs life (what with me being dead and her being in jail)
10) faith in mankind
11) world peace and knowledge that the child will never no war
12) the harlem globetrotters to lose a game
13) the american government to stop interfereing with other countries and to say who really killed kennedy
14) the knowledge that I am lord king of the moon, and have a golden chariot which brings the stars across the skies (now that's a career)
15) the dissolution of all boy/girl bands
If all these demands are met then and only then will i have children
