Would you feel more comfortable going to a formal dance in ripped jeans and a month-old stinky, stained t-shirt, or do you find yourself reaching for the eyeliner and platform boots just for a trip to the kitchen? How do you prefer to dress every day?

Do you have favorite brand names, clothing stores, and subculture styles? Maybe your style is all across the board sometimes?

I LOVE getting dressed up to go to formal balls but never get the chance.....now I'm not a student anymore

Today I mostly be wearing black low slung jeans, black sleeveless top with 'witch' in gothic print on it and my big black biker boots (not unlike those of Little Goth Girl )

anything that i dont have to greese myself up for to put on! but seriously, i tend to go for short-sleave-shirts, tees, baggy jeans and a jacket with a large enough inside pocket to hold my discman. as for formal things, i hav'ent been to any thing formal since i was about 8 years old. i dont tend to wear shinny things or really bright colours. basicly i hide behind normality. i dont like to stand out in my appearance because people might become interested in me, only to find out i'm nuts............
Addition edit: as for footwear, doc martens, converse, and vans have been to my liking in the last few years.

hmm mine is pretty mixed. I likr pants that a well fitted (not to big on baggy) pants. I suppose the Majority of the pants I own would be considered skatter simply because of the brands (most girls skating pants are tighter fitted). I dunno exactly what i would call the other stuff i wear. As for favorite brands, for shirts i like Mata's (the fit very nice), Firespitter, Lithium, Ok47 as far as pants go I would the most type i own are Orbit. Other then that most of clothes i buy are made by local designers

am a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl... I like the thrift store look. That jacket from the 50's with a nice pair of faded, moth eaten jeans with a nice pair of boots (mainly doc martins). I like comfortable clothes.. I am not a slave to fashion.. fav brands, jenco, doc martin, foxy, and whatever is at the thrift store. I just cant do the goth look.. once again I just look like a depressed raver.

im a jeans and t-shirt dude... i dont wear anything else.... i need to get some suits though... would go nicely if i ever learn to play the trumpet and start a band...

I love having OTT make-up and am trying to get the art of 60s eyeliner and Alisha-attic style shaddow. Failing miserably like but its great fun.

Clothes I generally wear what Im comfy in. I have very "what-the-hell-are-you-wearing-deary" friends who are irritating me but Ive managed to get the the point where I just dont give one anymore. Generally prefer skirts to trousers and love my rediculously large heals.

I HATE wearing dresses!! Unless it's Renaissance dresses, which is a COMPLETELY different matter. I usually wear jeans, mostly black. I have exactly ONE pair of blue jeans. I like plain colored shirts. Right now all my shirts are either black or white. I don't like really frilly stuff, but I do like the frilly, old-fashioned sleeves and things like that. Sorta like Lestat wears in Interview With a Vampire. I used to have a pair of combat boots, but they got worn out. Must go back to the army surpluss store! So now I just have a pair of black-leather ankle boots with 2 inch heels, and a pair of boots that my friends call my "pixie shoes" because they're small and pointy. Oh, and I have a pair of ratty, formerly-white sneakers that I wear when I'm not out with friends or something.

Jeans and t-shirts. Comfy. The only other constant is that all my short-sleeved t-shirts are black, and I usually adopt a "favourite" and wear that most days for months - though at the moment I've two, so if Squee gets three days in a row I have to make sure Invader Zim gets the next three. It's only fair.

I like long baggy jeans an tops that are weird an kinda unique. Basically i live in comfort rather than tryin to look my best (sorry prob let a lot of girls down there!!) I'm wearin a dress for my Leavers Ball tho!! Thats as feminine as i get. Also i live in my DM's the comfyest thing eva!!

Comfortable stuff. People have said I dress like a punk or a goth, but I'm really not one of those people that stays up all night to perfect an outfit to look especially punk or goth. It's whatever's comfortable. Like today. Volleyball shirt and some baggy pyjama pants. Hey, it gets hot outside. =)

i will wear whatever the hell i want to. ha. i change what i wear all the time because i get bored. its fun.
today i wore a black tank top with flower cut outs, a denim skirt, flip flops [fuzzy!!!!!!!!] and a train hat. people thought i was "ghetto" or "preppy." it was pretty funny. LOL, in borders, i was yelling at my friend because he listens to [what i consiter] crap music, and these digustingly makeup clad people start asking me if i am an avril lavigne fan. see how they judge me? seriously, we dont need to wear a wig and 38265024 pounds/kilos of makeup to be cool do we?

oh yeah i love H&M and target! and also old navy! dept stores RULE.

most people tell me I dress too conservatively... lol I wear fitted jeans... but they're just plain old blue jeans... nothing special about 'em.. sometimes I'll wear black jeans. And I wear just regular shirts... I very seldom wear t-shirts outside the house... but I don't wear trendy clothes or anything... and I like to wear skirts sometimes... I have quite a few pairs of shoes... but I mainly wear my tennies... and I have a pair of black boots and a pair of brown boots I like.

I have a friend who keeps wanting to go shopping with me so she can help me dress "more sexy" but I'm not so sure about that...... lol

Well, I usually wear casual stuff. Havin to wear a suit an tie fer work, I likes to dress down a bit at home, so it's usually a pair o jeans or chinos, a tee, an me trusty reeboks!

Um...I like to wear . . . clothes. If they're not stained or ripped I'm okay with wearing them. Gosh, i'm boring. The only thing I'm really picky about they have to be modest, usually with no designs on them and made of nice feeling fabric (none of that polyester/rayon junk)
