My rant is about sexism though, and so I will start out with this statement: misogynist is the word to describe one who hates or despises women. There is no word to my knowledge that describes hatred towards men.
you realize, of course, that the word is of Greek origin, and that Greek society wouldn't allow for distrust of men, but I'm sure you could just make one up

Men are blamed for a lot of things. A lot of women hate men; some even use us for our money. Many [awful word] hate us and others harbor hatred towards men for unknown reasons. Hatred towards men is a form of sexism; sexism in turn is a form of bigotry.
First of all, there's a rule against swearing and all that. But, seeing as a mod will probably correct you, I'll move on.
Women get blamed for just as many things as men, especially when a woman is in a bad mood. It's automaticly blamed on PMS. No matter what it is, it's always PMS. And no, most lesbians (see, a much nicer word) don't hate men, it just happens to be that the loudest voices get heard.

A clothing line was taken off the shelves when a group cried foul. The t-shirts and sandals said things like “boys are ugly. throw rocks at them” and “boys are smelly”. If t-shirts came out targeted at kids with sayings like “Women are evil; throw rocks at them” or “Women are gold diggers” or “Don’t trust anything that bleeds for seven days and doesn’t bleed” feminists groups would be having a shit fit and would begin to do a media blitz. What’s wrong with this scenario? It takes years upon years for a sexist line of clothing to be taken off the market yet a misogynistic one would never get off the ground.
Ok, but I'm sure if a group of men tried to protest it, which I don't believe they have, it would be taken off. And yes, I've seen shirts that speak badly of women.

I have as of yet to see a feminist group proclaiming “We want equal rights! Draft women!” I have as of yet to see a feminist group not be hypocritical, or not blame men for all their problems. I have as of yet to see a feminist group lobby for anything that promotes hatred towards men to be destroyed. It’s this kind of sexism that makes me sick.
Once again, it is only select feminist groups -the very radical ones- that have the loudest voices. That is why feminism is seen as such a dirty word, even to a large number of women.

Women have won in the ongoing battle against rape. They have made it so that when a woman says “no” at any time during intercourse or while committing a sexual act or having a sexual act performed on them the man must either pull out or stop because if he doesn’t he can be charged with rape. You heard me right, if the woman says “no” at any point while having sex you can be charged with rape, sexual assault or any other of charge the woman can think of. Some might say these new laws are fair and that this gives women more protection. This is not true; the laws are bigoted and were lobbied for by neo-feminists. These new rape laws open up the doors for corruption of the system and an influx of cases in which it’s the woman’s word against the man’s. This could prove to be disastrous; a guy dumps his girlfriend and the girlfriend turns around and claims he raped her under the new laws. The guy is sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit because of petty spite. Where are the laws protecting me? I don’t see any but since I’m a man that makes me a pig and so I shouldn’t be able to have any rights.
Actually, the chances of a man getting thrown in jail are quite small, seeing as how the only way to prove rape is by DNA evidence. Which is hard to aquire, and is also very expensive to test. I imagine you may have heard of 'rape kits' which are designed to keep DNA fresh -so to speak- so that they can be tested. Well, guess what? There are litterally thousands of them just sitting on shelves, not being tested, while women who have been raped live in fear that their attacker will come again. And it gets better. There have been women who have asked to pay for their rape kits to be tested, and they were DENIED. Yeah, that's fair for you.
And, I must say, do try to lighten up. There's a reason why this is in daft and not in Issues, ne?
