Snugglebum the Destroyer
Currently a couple of CDs that my sister downloaded for me. Lots of Ska Punk covers of the old favourites.

Heaven.... biggrin.gif

Ohh, and 'Sit on my face, and tell me that you love me...'
Industrial Kybosh
Ever just sat alone in the house, with no music accompanying you, the night peacefully still outside the window, and all people around in blissful slumber, then felt a question creep softly into your head...

... is my freezer always this f@cking loud?

Maybe I should go to bed...
Snugglebum the Destroyer
Inky -you're Fecking great!!! Please MSN me anytime...
Industrial Kybosh
o_O

I can't say I'm not flattered... but that was rather unexpected.

I won't be messaging you, as I'm not often online, and have a hard enough time remembering to reply to emails, never mind send out messages. Just ask anyone here - correspondance is not a strong point of mine. But you're always welcome to PM me whenever I'm in here. Provided I get around to cleaning my Inbox, that is...

It's a living history of the MataForums, my inbox. I've got an Acid Bunny from Raven in there, for crying out loud.

On an ontopic note, the freezer is doing my nut in. Furthermore, I swear I can hear ticking, even though there isn't a clock in this room.

I'm going to die in a horrible exploding mess, aren't I?
Snugglebum the Destroyer
Heheh - don't panic - I'm not going to get all offended if you don't.

Just wanted you to know that you're great is all.
gothictheysay
All the time, Mike.

We need to do a study on listening to Pink Floyd for over an hour and a half at a time and seeing what it does to your brain..."Animals" was in my portable CD player for about three hours yesterday...

Silly Inky, haven't you learned anything from Tyres? repetitive potentially annoying noises = music. Kinda.

Looks like you win.

Poor "Whatchoo Listnin' To, Foo'?", the most combined thread in the history of the forums...

Oh. And I'm pinning it, for historical value... and hopefully so people will be able to see it and use this already-existing thread instead of making new ones in the future.

Tete .. Le meileur des mondes

Okay, he's singing in French, so it might not be the right forum for screaming about it, but man, this guy has got a phenomenallly natural way of delivering his music, from voice, to meter, to guitar playing ... really really nice ... really ...

I'd really like it if some of you could go out and listen to it, and tell me what you all think, despite the fact it's still sung in French ...

Wicked .. discovery of the month ...

Many thanks to you, Missy! 72 pages, and finally the fugger gets pinned. Really, this thread has become a force of nature...

The last three days have been all about Eagles Of Death Metal, and their fine debut 'Peace Love And Death Metal'. Oddly summery music, I feel. Bloody love it.

Freezer update - quiet tonight. I think it's planning something. I don't like it...
gothictheysay
Good luck on the freezer issue!

I think the Radiohead music has been tattooed to the inside of my brain. It's just been on over and over and over again constantly and I'm not really getting sick of it quite yet. that's probably because I've been sitting on the computer all day...I need to go outside or something.
Industrial Kybosh
Radiohead will do that. Best just to go with the flow. Enjoy the ride - normality, or an approximation thereof, will return in good time.

May I suggest combining your Radiohead with Super Furry Animals? Last summer, 'Hail To The Thief' and 'Phantom Power' were pretty much the only albums I listened to. Magic.
