Mostly Aberfeldy and Mark Lanegan Band this week. Nice contrast of light and dark. Mmm...

Looking forward to sampling the new Nick Cave double album next week, PLUS the promise of a re-release of Sigur Rós' 'Von', a new offering from Therapy? and thousands of gibbering nerds forking over their pounds for shiny copies of the Star Wars DVD trilogy. Heh heh heh... we've got 400 copies of the damn thing...

soundtrack to Ghost World... it's definitely eclectic

The new Nick Cave album(s) own my personal stereo at the moment, as they should yours.

Other listens have been the Winnebago Deal single 'Cobra' (rocktastic), the aforementioned 'Von' by Sigur Rós (weird - one track sounds like a cathedral inside a whale, and another like whales inside a cathedral), 'Damage' by Blues Explosion (strikingly bonkers), and the new Super Furry Animals release, being a 20-minute live version of 'The Man Don't Give A F@ck'.

Now I'm listening to a sound that may well be the girl upstairs having sex. I wish she had better rhythm... dry.gif

it doesn't matter everyone has different tastes. I myself enjoy a bit of classic Queen - the best band ever!
Tarantio
I think what he was trying to say is that not everyone has the same great tastes as me on the forums. There are the odd few, but even they fail to live up to my greatness wink.gif

It's been Sigur Rós (Vooooooon...) and Super Furry Animals (Man Don't Give A Monkey's single - top Bill Hicks sample!) all week for me. Couldn't be bothered changing the CDs in my bag.

On the SFA note, I advise everyone who doesn't own all their albums to get 'Songbook Vol. 1', their new singles collection. Personally, I bought the DVD edition, so I could relive their marvellous videos. 'It's Not The End Of The World?' alone is worth the asking price.
