The Police - Walking On The Moon

Eyvind Kand - Virginal Co-Ordinates. In particular, I Am The Dead - the most gorgeously heartbreaking piece of music I've ever had.

In a nutshell - minimal orchestration with Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk, Fantomas and about a million other musical pies) lending a hand in production and vocals. Warming, beautiful and fabulous.

Currently, Stormtrooper by Pepper is playing, but will be followed in quick succession with "Teach Your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young)

Some people say they have an eclectic range of music in their collection. Or they enjoy a broad selection of music. Or their taste is wide and varied.

Mine strikes me as surreal: There's not many other places you can find two 'Queens Of The Stone Age' albums sitting below a Rolf Harris greatest hits compilation CD.

Fair enough (that was a very polite way of dissuding me, correct?). I would alter my proposal to the oddest juxtapositions of songs, but I'm afraid you would win hands down with the Lion King/Eurythmics pairing. Imagine Annie Lennox with Simba make-up!

Oddly, and for me, quite disturbingly, I have no music playing at the moment. But I have just been listening to a couple of preview clips on iTunes of songs by Missy Higgins - as recommend to me by a friend.
Fallen Element
I purchased the acoustic version of "Jagged Little Pill" by Alanis Morrisette today - which is jazzily entitled "Jagged Little Pill Acoustic" and it is very swank. I have been a listening to it all day.

Currently on "Not the Doctor" which is ace!

One of my favorite Placebo tunes smile.gif And the Survivor song? I went to Planet Hollywood in New York and they played it. Apparently it was in Rocky III.

Radiohead - I Will (Live) and Radiohead - True Love Waits.

I have yet to get over my collection of Radiohead b-sides, too. @_@

Which, in all honesty, I think is one of the best love songs ever.

You've made me put that on, now.

EDIT: "put that on"... as if it is some fine piece of vinyl. What I should have said is, "You've made me click the characterless song title in my 'All Songs' playlist".
