Last coupla days I have been listening to a healthy mix of Alice In Chains and Strapping Young Lad.

Damn... I forgot how good they both are. Or were, as the case may be.

*Potters about singing along to Heaven Beside You*

Dude! That's one of the greatest songs ever!

Like the coldest winter chill, heaven beside you... hell within...

Me and my mates always try (and fail) to sing that in harmony.

And you think you have it still, heaven inside you!

Alice in Chains are some of the greatest musicians ever to walk the planet. RIP Layne!

Well, now you've got me onto the subject, I am also listening to 'Heaven Beside You'. Aswell as 'I am inside'.

God Put A Smile Upon Your Face - Coldplay

I'm also printing out Passepied (Suite Bergamasque) - Debussy and the printer is groaning in time to the music. It does give Coldplay an edge.

Listening to more of me, I'm afraid. My speakers are so screwed up,
(therefore):
I should fix them
(were it not for):
my laziness.

So I've been humming/singing some Dave Matthews Band and David Bowie. ("The Space Between" and "Space Oddity", respectively)

Doesn't work I'm afraid; I end up listening to more due to no lack of direction in Toto-playing.

Today I made an... interesting score. At this one local second hand book store I came across a pile of new CD's and upon flicking through them found some very bizarre and intriguing stuff. Zen Rock & Roll - End of the Age? Yes very bizarre so naturally I buy some of these CD's. I ended up at two dollars a CD: the Zen Rock one, The Last Dance - ...Reflections of Rage..., The Last Chance - Once Beautiful, and Chain - Reconstruct, which now I am listening too.

The opening track of chain went a little something like this. "If someone were to discover the meaning and purpose of the universe, instantly it would disappear and be replaced with another even more bizarre". I thought that was my own unique theory, well guess it just proves that nothing is original.

I really like that song. I love the random treasures one finds randomly searching the internet!

Currently listening A friend doing a metal show on a local radio station. Lots of System of a Down.

Led Zeppelin IV. Just listening through some of my old vinyl. Although my record player plays slightly faster than it should, but hell. Makes Plant sound even more like a squeaky voiced kid than normal...

CM, your apostraphe wounds me in a deep dark place not meant to be wounded.

I am listening to internet radio, and the song on is by the Mountaineers, called "Camped Out". The sound on my computer is so distortion-ridden that it kind of sounds like Radiohead, though.
