Sigur Ros, which can only mean one thing: I've got lots of work that I've left until the last minute again. Yay!
*

I squeaked at the mention of Sigur Ros. Lovely choice.

Um... Something relevant to the thread... Until about twenty minutes ago, I was on an AFI kick. I've also been indulging in some Fantomas and Green Day and Flaming Lips. It's been fun.

25th December by Everything but the Girl. I'm horribly mixing my holidays.

!!! I'd only ever heard one song (We Walk the Same Line) by that band, and recently I found we owned a full CD, which I burned onto my computer, and that is one of my new favorite songs. You have my undying love.! tongue.gif

I'm singing it at my church's Christmas Eve service (!) and I still have no idea how I convinced them to let me do a secular song. But it promises to be a Cool Thing.

I'm listening to some dance music. I'm not sure what it is. I'm also listening to horrible amounts of screams, laughs and crashes. My sister was supposed to be having a 'quiet night in with some friends'.

I am (trying not to) listen(ing) to my mother attempting to sweetly croon "Baby, It's Cold Outside". It's now firmly jammed in my head, so I can't try to cover it up with other music. One option left--Jared Axelrod's fantastic Voice of Free Planet X podcast, located after running a search for "Neil Gaiman" on iTunes. Weird.
little_bear
Just put on some more Goldfrapp (Ooh La La this time). Waiting for the Beyblade theme tune to download too.

Today I discovered Interpol and am loving them. Anyone else a fan?
elphaba2
Me! I found them some time ago and decided that, however hackneyed, a New York band imitating Britpop bands who imitate other Britpop bands is a good idea. They're swell music to walk in busy streets to.
