Daria
Belle and Sebastian, and Pink Floyd have been on the cd player today.
elphaba2
Daria gets plus 10 indie cred for the Belle.

I'm listening to a new love of mine. His name is Andrew Vladeck and he plays the banjo beautifully (I saw him play last night).
Felander
Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking - Snow Patrol.
ShadowWolfenNinja
Welcome to my life- Simple plan

I don't listen to the Verve enough!
I_am_the_best
White Rose Movement - Alsation
Novander

Either this week or next I suspect they'll be taking the number one spot on my last.fm chart.

Heh, I am really not that Indie. Well, that is a lie- about half of the bands I listen to are unsigned, but that counts for nothing these days rolleyes.gif

Currently listening to Primal Scream, The Sex Pistols, White Stripes and The Polyphonic Spree. Not all at once.
Novander
A bunch of ambient and post-rock stuff, to work to.

At the moment, it's Explosions In The Sky - With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept

There's a lot of Air, a lot of Sigur Rós and a lot of Appleseed Cast in the playlist.
ShadowWolfenNinja
Move along- All-American rejects

All American Rejects - Move Along

I do so love the cheesey punk-pop thing. It just makes me happy!

Now it's Taking Back Sunday - Makedamnsure

I also love emo, emo makes me happy. Maybe I'm more happy than normal because I am sat on a sofa watching a TV with music channels!! Hehe, I like being at home, I don't have a sofa/TV/mactop when I'm in Norwich. Also, I'm probably a little bit hyper!
elphaba2
Emperor X- Shut Shut Up. I went to a lovely shiny happy concert of his in super-downtown NYC on Friday, and have been listening obsessively ever since.

(we got kicked out of the venue and wound up following an accoustic-playing Emperor down three blocks, like a protest march except with delicious indie rock)
ShadowWolfenNinja
Dance, Dance- Fall out boy (I <3 the music video!)
Daria
Polysics- I Me My Mine, and The Sun-Romantic Death. Only just heard of these two, and am mightily impressed!
gothictheysay
Working on getting into Sigur Ros, but listened to a bunch of Godspeed You! Black Emperor on my road trip.
I_am_the_best
Sigur Ros is crazy. I wish the album came equiped with a dictionary. I wonder what the lyrics mean. If you're into them, do you like Johnny Hollow?

Currently: my friend singing something or other to me. Apparantly Frank Sinatra.
elphaba2
I believe it's Charlie Parker atm. I'm making a jazz mix (though Yann Tiersen [of Amelie soundtrack fame] has managed to sneak on somehow).
ShadowWolfenNinja
I slept with someone in fall out boy and all I got was this stupid song written about me- Fall out boy
Novander
the new AFI track, Miss Murder.

I've been listening to it a fair bit over the past two days, and I'm still not sure what I think of it. It sounds more upbeat than Sing the Sorrow era stuff. I've seen a couple of people on various forums (fora?) say it sounds like AFI mixed with Green Day. I'm not sure I agree, but I can see where they're coming from.
Felander
There's A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey. You Just Haven't Figured It Out Yet - Panic! At The Disco.

I've been listening to The Dresden Dolls - Yes, Virginia... and Interpol - Antics most of this evening.
I've been looking forward to Yes, Virginia... being released ever since I heard that it was happening. I'm not too sure what I think of it yet, it's pretty different from their self titled first studio album but it's still good. I think it'll be one of those things that I get more into the more I listen to it.
Antics has been on my wishlist for a while and I needed something to get my Amazon order up over £15 for free delivery. I was not disappointed, I really like Turn On The Bright Lights and Antics is just what I was looking for from it!
Felander
Hole In Your Soul - ABBA
ShadowWolfenNinja
American Idiot- Green Day ^w^
elphaba2
Right now, I'm listening to Mr. Mellow himself, in the form of Seu Jorge playing Changes.

But I can still uphold my awesome cred because I shaved myself a mohawk while listening to McLusky and X. So there. tongue.gif
tv with legs
east hastings - GODSPEED You! Black Emporer

the whole expiramental this is great with these guys...

In all due time (I hope).

I heard the Stills for the first time last night and enjoyed it very much--therefore current listening is Love and Death, followed in a traditional "Oh, it's on shuffle" moment by Tower of Power--What is Hip?.
ShadowWolfenNinja
Our lawer made us change the name of this song so we won't get sued- Fall out boy

I've been listening to A Day Late by Anberlin a lot recently. I really need to get their album; they're one of the best of this new wave of emo bands.
Daria

Plan B- Sick 2 Def (acoustic version).
This man is incredible- the imagery he creates is just awesome.

Last.fm told me to listen to "Of Montreal" and I consequently drew a small heart on my calf muscle. Inside the heart is "Last.fm" and then, in smaller letters, "Of Montreal". It's kind of bleepy, bleary Interpol-y rock. If Interpol crashed into some California indie and the Beatles and they all had a baby only to leave it on a busy downtown bus, that baby would grow up to be "Of Montreal".

Currently: Disconnect the Dots
