I just got an iPod for all A's! (I just asked for "some sort of music playing device" ... never expected an actual iPod...)
Because of that, I have been listening to Panic! at the Disco songs over and over and over until I can get all of my CDs on it...*is not a patient person*

New Incubus single--Anna Molly.
It's fun enough. A little 80's in the guitar line. But other than that, very traditional Incubus.

I was disappointed by it to be honest, but that is because I am stuck in the Fungus Amongus era. Also, what is the point of having Kilmore if you can't hear him DJ?

Because I was annoyed at Gogol Bordello being shuffled into my playlist when I wanted to listen to calm music, I made a new playlist to which I have been listening constantly. It contains King Creosote, Surfjan Stevens, Blur, Interpol, Chihiro, Radiohead, Mogwai, The Guillemots, Air, The Lemonheads, Supergrass, Incubus, Joanna Newsom, The Arcade Fire, The Bright Eyes, The Doors, The Smashing Pumpkins and Tom Vek.

Just joking, of course I will let go. Eventually. When you stop listening to all of the music that makes me happy.
I have been listening to noisy Yeah Yeah Yeahs this morning because they're blasting music down the hall and nothing quiet will drown it out. Currently, Art Star. But pre-blasting I listened to Sojourn of Arjuna by Béla Fleck and Hands Away by Interpol.

Last week I ordered both albums by
As Tall As Lions from America, today the latest (and self titled) album arrived so I'm listening to that.
It's silly and slightly annoying that the old album hasn't arrived yet because I ordered them at the same time from the same company.

I'm listening to and audiobook of 'American Gods' by Neil Gaiman. It's about 22 hours long! The reader is very good, an American guy in his fifties or sixties by the sound of it, but I'm not convinced that the style lends itself to audiobook treatment. Gaiman's style tends to split off into small myths and stories told by the characters, which can make it a little hard to follow occasionally, but overall I'm enjoying it.
I <3 audiobooks!

I always start drifting off and thinking about something else when I listen to them, and then realise I've missed important bits of plot. I imagine they'd be useful if I was going on a long car journey, but as I don't drive I'd much rather stick to written text.
Right now I'm listening to Thursday's latest album,

Genre's are overrated and wholly subjective, and as such, you can make up whatever bollocks you want. Two of my favourites are Symphonic Metal (Nightwish) and Funk-Rock (something I made up for Red Hot Chili Peppers).
On my way home from work, I listened to International Superhits by Greenday...because I felt like it.
