Song For The Fields is incredible- it does something to you that you don't quite know what, and makes you love them.

Oh cool. I'm not a huge fan of Muse, but I've got five or six songs that I listen to every now and then. What gets me every time is the orchestration of certain songs--it's got kind of a symphonic quality.

Anyway, I am listening to Metric and Queens of the Stone Age. I am in a weird mood.

I am currently listening to the new album from Damien Rice, "9". Pretty much the same kind of thing as his first album, really, which is no bad thing if you like "O" (and I do). Perhaps a little more aggressive, though: 'Rootless Tree' being the track that has earned a Parental Advisory sticker.

Interesting trivia, Izzy: That song JB (vocals/keys/percussion) wrote when his exgirlfriend accused him of rape and abuse. JB is a sweet, gentle guy and would never do anything she accused him of. "Little Red Sin" JB wrote after a small red-headed woman tried to sleep with him and got him in trouble with his fiance. "Death March" Rick (drums/vocals) wrote when he felt like he was letting all of us down (when he wasn't) and "Flatline" is about the guy for whom he was dumped by his ex.

I am listening to the Arctic Monkey's album. I have seen them twice, started listening to them about May/ June 05 (hardly listen to them at all- the album I have is copied), and I still think they are an OK band. Nothing special.

Clever lyrics, at times, though.

I am listening to Orson doing a cover version of Sugababe's "Push The Button" from the Radio 1 Live Lounge compilation album. It's okay...

Currently? Sublime's "What I Got." Great song.

As a whole, though, I've been on a severe Barenaked Ladies kick. Looks like they've dethroned Blues Traveler as my favorite band.
