..As are the Fratellis, if you like that sort of thing. Neither are to my personal taste, but they vaguely seemed to fit in with the list of mainstream indie rock bands you already had.
You should add Robot by The Futureheads- a song from when they were good

The first was something by MCR. Not a big fan or them, but this song was good. I know the name..it's..it's...I lost it.
Then Dairy of Jane by Breaking Bejamin.
And then Get Stoned by Hinder.
Grr..Now stupid commercial time.."Every kiss begins with Kay"
*edit* Yay, now it's something by Linkin Park. Somewhere I Belong I think.

I've only one Decemberist song as of right now ("Bandit Queen), but I'll be recieving the entire discography including some unreleased tracks and bootlegged concerts very soon.
Got the new special edition 2 disc Barenaked Ladies album, "Are Me," and haven't been able to listen to it yet because there is something wrong with my computer sound system and my other CD player simultaneously. It's killing me. Two discs of Barenaked Ladies at my finger tips, and I can't get it.

I've been listening to
Erik Satie alot recently (watching
Corrina, Corrina made it easier to pin down. I've noticed his pieces in a few films now). Trois Gymnopedie is my favorite so far.
WeFunk has been a firm favorite of mine for a couple of years now. It's a weekly 2 hour radio show braodcast in Montreal, that plays funk and hip hop. They have nearly all (450+) of their shows on their site, avaliable for streaming - no adverts. Plus there are interviews. If you are fed up with what MTV Base plays you, go listen!

I listen to one ABBA song (Watch Out is the name) and that is only because the lyrics make him sound like a psychotic stalker.

Wow, Froggie. I'm surprised you've been able to find anything else than the Trois Gymnopedie. Hell, that you can even distinguish the difference between the movements. I never really got into any of the dadaism. It was just too... airy, I suppose. Still, I didn't know that there were readily available recordings of Satie's other works.
Anyway, I've found the problem with the BNL album, and it's not my CD player. It's the fact that the album itself is a fucking DVD! I bought this thing and now I can't listen to it without it being in my computer and I can't rip the songs and burn a CD because that's not how it works! I'm so pissed!

SNOO!I have so much love for you right now. Seriously, Metric - Empty is one of the best songs of 2006.
(Although I have to say, you're totally wrong about Hurt. Most especially if we factor in the Cash version's video.)
----
Right now I'm listening to The Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Turn Into (previously Klaxons - Golden Skans) but it's time for me to mention two things I've been listening to a lot this week.
Tiger Tunes - Pancake America
Tiger Tunes - Family Picture (both from the album Absolutely Worthless Compared To Important Books). Basically, it's a group of guys messing about with a computer and some guitars and some drums, but they can make some really good stretches of music (Family Picture) or some brilliant choruses ("Flapjacks. Flapjacks are made of love. Flapjacks. Flapjacks are made of love." in Pancake America). Plus the album cover has a cute tiger on. And what's he doing? Aww, he's photocopying himself! So zany.
