i got snowballed by mel. i got curious, so i checked out the website. ive been addicted ever since.

well, i'd known becca (erm, oxy) for about six years. i then met lo about two years ago. i lost touch w/ lo, but still talked to becca now and again on MSN. one night becca mentioned something about how she and lo were talking in yahoo....i asked what room they were in, and got an invite to a voice conference with the two of them, hins, cheese, and i think tara was there too. they all told me to go to the forums, which i did...aaand i've been here ever since.

i actually didn't watch any of the anims until about my second week on the forums..lmao. i watched every single one in that one day and have been hooked on them since then.

Hmm.....VampirePrincess send the link for the first Mittens animation to Kalina, then Kalina sent the link to me. I was immediately enthralled and watched them all, even signed up for the messageboard it was so awesome!!! Then I bugged VampirePrincess until she joined me here!! Still working on Kalina, though......

LoLo brought me here... hehe I met LoLo in excite chat... then LoLo was talking to me about matazone when the forums started... and before long, I was coming too lol

I did a search on google or excite or something one day to find pictures of goth girls and came across the site. I was looking for pictures to gank and manipulate for my avatars on excite, but instead I found this site and became totally addicted. I loved the animations, and then when the forum came around i joined, even though I was afraid that no one would like me and most were probably friends with Mata. See though everything worked out well. I also thought by putting how I came to be here in my intro thread that I wouldn't be accepted because I thought maybe people would think that I wanted to gank mata's work. No way could I ever do that. I love everything he's done and as soon as the unemployment compensation starts coming in in the next couple weeks I'm going to get another T-shirt! woooooo

i was bitching at this guy in a chatroom because my boyfreind that claimed he loved me cheated on me so i just started yelling at this guy and he just listened to my rantings and then gave me a link to the second mittens... i didnt feel anybetter but i watched it agin later and giggled my ars off... this was way beck when there were only 2 mr sb (that i watched like very night)

Long, long ago....a friend linked me to the first mittens....Back then, things were quite different, oh yes...Only two Mr Snaffleburgers back then, only two Samurai Lapin, and only LGG up to the Fluffykin one. Ah, those were the days...*wipes away tear of nostalgia*

I've been hanging about Matazone a while myself -- there was but one Mittens anim when I came around, I believe. Then again, may have been two, my memory faults me. I had my eye on joining the forums for a good while, but I couldn't be arsed till april 21st.

I discovered it through a buddy of mine... he used to go to oddball flash anim places an he showed me a singing kitten thingummy on rathergood.com. I asked him how he found this stuff, an he mentioned a place that, without which, I'd have missed out on some top stuff and on meetin you guys...

I went there, saw a Mr Snaffleburger link (fer the 2nd one), I watched it, laughed lots, went thru the site watchin them all... never looked back! I even emailed mata about the MTV2 Europe thingummy (what a saga that was! How long did it take to get them shown??)

I joined the forum as soon as I noticed it. Yeah, how slow am I?

This girl at Academy, Raye, had a certain talent for finding weird stuff on the internet... sometime in the fall, after she and I became friends, she introduced me to Little Goth Girl, and I was hooked from that moment forward.

Not a complicated story, unless you want to hear about how I almost didn't go to Academy and subsequently never would have landed here in the first place... oh, how different EVERYTHING would be for me right now...

Lolo sent the link of the animations to me several months back. At the time, I only had a dialup connection and never had the patience for downloading anything more interesting than AIM and ICQ. So I sat down to download one snaffleburger animation and one goth girl animation and lost patience for the downloads after that. Yeah, I liked the animations and everything, but I'm weird...when I find something that I like but that has barriers to it (such as a dialup connection), then I make myself feel better by ignoring it and pretending that I don't need DSL when I really do... Anyway, several months later Lolo sent the link again when she started talking about the forums, and I had DSL by then, so I sat down to watch most of the animations (wooo, lightning-fast 10-second downloads! no requirement to wait half an hour between downloading and watching each animation!) and I decided to join the forums.

i was searchin cartoons on the web because i love watchin em.... and one sight had a link to matazone... so i came and checked it out... and i feel in luverly

the forums were something i kinda avoided for a good while, at least until i got my broadband access

My sister showed it to me after her girlfriend had shown it to her. I didn't go to the other side for quite a long time, but I had the first Mittens animation and the Harvest animation (once that one came out) on my favorites list. I watched both Mittens animations every time I was online (which was at least four times a week) and learned all of the words. I would instant message them with my sister's girlfriend. All we ever talked about was Matazone and monkeys.

Last day of college (ever) I ended up in IT4 surfing and a load of college mates were watching LGG. Went home and found the site.

I discovered Matazone about a year ago. I was living with Goddess of Wheee at the time and she was laughing her butt off in the other room and called me in and showed me Mittens the Kitten. Boy was I hooked. Unfortunately I was left totally unaware that there were not only more Mittens....but just plain MORE. It would be a long while before I saw more but when I did, I was double hooked. Good stuff. And then Goddess of Wheee told me about the Matazone forums.........and my soul was taken away

I got a link to the Mittens animation from my friend Shayla. My obsession just went on from there.

i also started by having a link to the first mittens animation shown to me, and it was, like manym other ppl here, when things were simpler and much fewer animations. i lurked in the forums a tiny bit, mostly to read the threads about the animations, but after a while i decided to join, and here i am!
