i noticed, but im sure theres always a good reason for them leaving and i wont object to anyone leaving if they really want to... nomatter how much id miss them...

'The Rules' have always been the same since this forum started and there has always been 'suitable for mature readers' at the top of every page since it started. It even says that on 'The Other Side' title. None of this is new:

If you're swearing it'll get editted out.

If you are linking to things with swearing then please give warning so that people know what they're going to. If it's really indecent then we'll edit that too.

You may well be absolutely fine with swearing, sex and whatever else the net has but if you want that on a forum then there are plenty of places for it on the web. Best wishes to you.

This site, being based on animations, does sometimes get some very young visitors (I'm not saying that I encourage young children but they do find their way here) and I want them to be at least shielded from some of the things that you may find on other forums.

Call me a person with high ideals if you like but I don't think communication has any need of swearing, abusive language or crudity. *shrugs* If the world doesn't have idealists then we'll never get anywhere.

I like to think that the majority of posters on here appreciate the difference that it makes and share the belief that this is a good way to promote conversation. I also think it helps stop the place decending into flame wars and "- Matrix rawks -No, Matrix sucks" style conversations.

As has always been the case, if you don't like the rules then this isn't the forum for you. It's your choice, and that has never changed either.
