I know most of the members of this forum are from either the UK or the USA, and some may be scattered from across the globe...but I suggest the use of "internet time" to syncronize meetings or other events that require people from different times zones to be "here" at the same time.

...ok brief explanation...
with "internet time" its that time regardless of where on the planet you are ...if it's @9:19 here, it's @9:19 everywhere... although of course it may be 4:19 in central time USA and whatever it is in London...
SO, If I ask you to meet me on messenger or here @9:19 internet time... I would come on at my 4:19pm central time and you would at whatever time it was in your place , swatch has the program that Mata/Leo can place on the site to sync everyone ... they even sell watches with "internet time"

NICE. I like the idea accept I only get to spend and average of 1 hour a day on here so if there is an event then chances are I probably will miss it or i wont be on at that time.

I witnessed "internet time" when I was playing a certain online role playing game a few years ago...Phantasy Star online. The game had an internet clock that was just really hard for me to follow. I tried using it with my online friends but it just doesn't work. It was so radically different from normal time keeping. I ended up just going by normal time.
I suppose an internet constant time could prove interesting, but I find it could be more confusing then anything else. I'm sure a lot of people around here would agree that just mentally remembering people's time zones is a lot easier. Like I automatically know that my friends overseas are 6 hours ahead of me. *shrug* Just my 2 useless cents.
