wow. i didn't believe it until i saw..........oh my word. i don't like cat's, and i'm not a terribly sensitive person.....but that was the saddest thing i've seen in a long time.

Honestly, I believe it's a (sick-minded) creative person with a talent for Photoshop. Really. No doubt the site's been seen by governmental agencies by now. It's been around for a looooooong time and has changed very little, and that suggests to me that it's only a joke.

wow. first time i saw it i laughed my EDITing ass off... i like kitties probably more than the average guy, but it was seriously one of the funniest things ive seen. of course its a damn sick joke. doing that for real gets u jail sentences.

however, its controversy is something u have to have come to expect. theres FAR worse on the net out there, and this was obviously meant in good humour. sick good humour, but good humour nontheless. censorship issues abound, but if your as desensitised (i was gonna say mature, but thats definitely wrong...) as i am then u can see thru sick acts and such and see the humour behind them. hey theres a helluva lot worse things people have done to me and ive laughed at them.

i guess its just a matter of seeing the funny side.

I thought it was funny. A little weird yeah, but funny! It's a joke people. I'm an animal person too, but I know a joke when I see it. They're not actually harming kittens or puppies or any other animal. They're just being weird.

You people really are taking the p**s-you class these manipulated animals as a product?I can understand that if you happen to be Asian or whatever culture it is that agrees with this twisted form of "art" you respect these practices.But still,please see that tradition or not,this is inhumane torture-i don't give a damn whether you try to enforce correct usage of the BonsaiKitty method,whatever you do causes much discomfort to the animal,how would you like to be stuffed into a jar and have your body contorted into a manner of twisted shapes?I would also like to ask what happens to the kittens waste?Is it to live both in the confines of a jar AND in its own filth?And i would like to ask whether there is any point in your feeding these animals through tubes,why don't you just let them starve while your at it?I'm sure the animal would rather die than spend another day confined to a jar.How can you people do this?These are living animals-not pieces of pottery or paintings,but living breathing animals which should not be subjected to this kind of torture regardless of what tradition says!It is unimagineable what pain these animals must go through in order to satisfy your sick needs-how are they expected to live a normal life,when their bodies have been contorted into twisted shapes to satisfy your needs for "entertainment"?

oh, and cats are uber flexible. they can squeeze through tight spaces without having any issues. under fences...under doors even. (my cat did that once.....freaked me out) so getting it to pose is not a big deal.

ok...let me put you all at ease, it's a fake site with a lot of sight gags, no chimicals were actually ever used on these animals , and ...those kittens were no more in that glass or bowl or whatever for more than a few clicks for the pix to be taken, the entire premise can be sickening, however, it did raise the question of ancient practices in other countries other than the western society.

Dead give away , most of the email domains are non-existant or for adult sites...don't ask... hehe


And , no after careful inspection of the pix, they are real kittens and real glass shapes, but believe no harm could possibly have been done to them.

just for verification...someone showed me that site a few years ago. It really is a joke. It really is just doctored photographs (and I guess, in a couple cases (from what I was told) donated already-deceased cats for 'realism')

well for a moment i thought it was stick a kitten in a small plant pot and snip bits off it to make an interesting shape.... i'm sure its a joke, a letter of....well complaint doesn't quite cover it, in any case they offered to send a free sample of a bonsai kitty.....that to me suggests its a joke.

This is comedy at its very darkest, i wasn't sure whether to be sad or laugh....i was mostly sad so i looked at the picture of nummy's little hedgehog (that sounds odd....) which made me happier....then i started wondering if it'd fit in a milk bottle.....then i stopped......
