i dunno if anyone else has read it,but i read "Ozzy Unauthorized" by Sue Crawford today and it tells u everything-from the moment his children were born to the infamous bat incident.........and personally,its really changed my opinion of him.I watched the Osbournes on MTV and am an avid fan.It changed my opinion on him slightly,but i still felt at heart he was slightly nuts(hey aren't we all??) at the beginning of that book,it explains his rowdiness at concerts and in the general public-he was an animal abusing,coke snorting,beer swilling pig.but from the moment his and sharon's frst child was born,his image changes totally-he's really a kind,senstitive,devoted father and husband,and a widely amired entertainer,(of whom i'm a fan of!)who donates frequently to charity and has been off the crack for years now.

So.............anyone else read it,and,your opinions on The Prince Of Darkness.

I could see him changing dramatically like that. My brother changed majorly when he found out his girlfriend was pregnant and will probably get ectatic when the kid's born.

Oz is a loony. He's the ultimate hedonist. Yeah, he's shot to crap now, wi all the booze an drugs he's done over the years, but there's still evidence of sentient activity goin on - ya can see it in The Osbornes; he'll be a bumblin idiot fer a looooooong time, then he'll suddenly say summat really profound, bang on context... He's obviously a clever bloke under all that mess resultin from what he did to himself. An Sharon is one in a million, puttin up wi him like that fer so long, he can't be an easy bloke ta live with...

I feel someone should explain what went on with that. he didn't actually do it on purpose.
Apparently he was messing about and pretending to bite off the heads of toy bats. Some jokester thought it would be funny to slip in a real dead bat into the pile of toy bats he was chomping through.

Always good to read biographies! I don't know whether it's me being nosey or just a natural curiosity but I LOVE them. I read Victoria Beckham's one and that was fascinating. She really has been through a lot. Before you slag her off though read the book and digest it. She isn't the most intelligent person in the world but the book is so well written, it's like she's talking to just you. Anyhoo, my tuppence.

Ozzy is mangled from the hedonism of his earlier years but extra cool. When they renewed their wedding vows on The Osbornes/MTV it was sooooo lovely I cried!

I would love to have him as my Dad even though I love the one I have dearly

In Ozzy's one,it's got pictures of him back in the 80's,when he had no make up,short hair,and "normal",OK "smart" clothes,and u sooooo wouldn't recognise him!
