Logicman
Right, Monkey the Rabid Red Rabbit and I, as you may or may not know, are both amateur cartoonists, myself having forty-some issues of Logicman, her having 20+ issues of Fatman. Anywho, as we are good friends, and see each other every day at school, and often out of it, we have decided to team up and do a comic called "Sam W. Clancy, the Disgruntled Pirate." I'm writing it, as I'm good at that, and she's drawing it, as she's VERY good at that. It's about a cynical disgruntled pirate named Samuel William Clancy. He has a hook for his left leg, a peg for his right arm, an eyepatch over his right eye, and another one on his forehead. The joke there is that once an episode, someone will ask why he has an eyepatch on his forehead, and he'll reply "Just to make 'em think, yarr!" and tap the eyepatch twice. And here's the best part: If I can find someone to host the scanned pages, we'll be able to put Sam right on the forum!

There. Questions? Comments? Volunteers to host scanned pages? ... please?

I'm posting here so everyone can flock and give me credit, and tell me what great pirates I draw. Come on now, don't be shy...
CommieBastard
I'm willing to host, but I only have a Webpost account, so I don't know about bandwidth issues...but I could make another account just for them, because it sounds hella funny.
Logicman
Thanks Commie! Great man, tht CommieBastard... *sniff*
The.Wheezing.Ghost
Good Idea. It certainly sounds interesting, to say the least. biggrin.gif I'll definetly read it.
Logicman
O' course you will. Everyone will. MWA HA HA!!! And they'll all be dying with laughter. laugh.gif
Logicman
According to Commie, Webpost accounts are free, so I'll just get my own. First issue should be up and running in a few weeks. biggrin.gif

I couldn't figure out Webpost, so Commie's hosting after all. The initial design of Sam is done, but for now it's top secret. One thing, though... instead of a parrot, he's got a rabbit perched on his shoulder!
Monkey the Rabid Red Rabbit
Firstly, the Rabbit was my idea! All mine! Second, I thought this was going to be top secret, Kevin? Divulging information about little Paul! Oh, and can you PM me what this Commie fella is gonna look like?
Logicman
No. I'll tell you later. dry.gif Top TOP secret, that is.
Monkey the Rabid Red Rabbit
Later as in... Now? Or do you mean later later?
Logicman
Well, seeing as I haven't planned out the Communist's appearance yet, I would have to say LATER!!
Monkey the Rabid Red Rabbit
Oh. Wanna take a walk? I'll buy some green M&M's?
Logicman
Must you spam every thread I make?
Sally Big Boots
I believe that I must say that these comics sound... interesting. However, how much can you do with a "Disgruntled Pirate"? Will you not run out of ideas?
Logicman
Nope. We're chock full of 'em!
Logicman
We have a bunch of ideas mapped out now, it's going really well. A few more weeks, people. It'll be great. laugh.gif

I still insist the elephant ears looked good.
