Alright, I see that there are no topics on my obsessions yet so I shall begin...by show of hands, who all loves these two wonderful games? Ah, yes. These wonderful, bloody games have me on the edge of my seat, sweaty with anticipation in just minutes. All the gore and death transforms into a grotesque cascading spiral of ultimate passion and need for these life-changing experiences. oh yes..."Why did I follow him? I dunno. Why do things happen as they do in dreams? All I know is...when he beckoned...I had to follow." *dreamy sigh* well come, post and be happy in my obsession...or else.

i played diablo 1 and 2 (without the expansion)... 1 was good, but i never beat it for one reason or another.. usually someone deleting my game after i get a good deal into it... i beat 2 because i was horrably obsessed with it the summer i got it... good games... need to get 1 again though... must... feed... addiction.... must...... slay.....

oh i must agree. please, do not let this obsession become unfed any longer! get the game back!!! feed your hunger!!!

Once you play 2, you will hate 1, it's ..........................well .....old.

The expansion on D2 was great. And as for completeing number 1 that's just lazy Easyist game in the word.

Playstation 2 owning Diablo fiends would do well to invest in a copy of a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, a second joypad and a chum to play with. The co-operative mode is an absolute hoot.

I do believe the sequel's out stateside, and ought to be out this month in the land of people who drive on the both the right and the left side of the road at once.

2 has a better all over view, and a much better "world" gameplay to it. Diablo when released was a great game, but they imporved it so much more in diablo2.

The skill slots are better, monsters more intelligent and dangerous. Items are more improved the quests are not as random which is a loss, but over all the scope for improvement of character is better. It's also an easy game to complete, espcially diablo, all you need is a staff of Apolocalse and your away destroying everything with utter ease behind walls without seeing them. None of that in number 2.

Personally i loved number 1, but after 2 and then the expansion it was just so much more. Anyway thats my reason.

yes yes i agree. diablo ii is alot harder than i and it's sometimes more confusing... i repeated places and fiends many a time. i am still not completed with diablo ii although i am in act iii and almost to act iiii. well...what about quake? has anyone played this game at all? i find it simply wonderful. a classic alien game with 3-d outlooks and awesome weaponry. Rocket Launchers, Grenade Launchers, Plasma Guns...*dreamy sigh* maximum kill, baby! ok i shall calm myself now but please let me know what you think

Sorry Double but i despise quake played a bit then got bored. So i can't really comment. As for the diablo i had charaters on the rank table online my best got to number 10, and could solo the ancients on Hell level
