So I'm at the music store the other day and lo and behold they have ONE copy of the Sleeping with Ghosts album from Placebo. At the time, I only knew two songs off of it: "English Summer Rain" and "The Bitter End". More then enough to buy the album. Boy was I pleasantly surprised to find one of the better albums I've ever purchased. I can barely put the thing down. Anyone else feel the same about this great album?

And on a side note, our local Best Buy randomly starting selling bucketloads of Pixies albums

I just found out that Placebo is going to be playing in Montreal exactly one week before I get there. I get the feeling that this wouldn't be quite so annoying if the exact (and I mean EXACT) same thing hadn't happened the last time I went there as well.

But yes, Sleeping With Ghosts is a great album. Quite possibly my favourite of theirs, and I love them all.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go sit in a corner and cry.

as for placebo...i can't really say i know that much of them. although what i do know is pretty good...

I randomly picked one up (Pixies) and lo and behold......Track 01 - Debaser! I giggled like a school girl.

And as for Placebo, Dayan, you fool! YOU WILL LISTEN TO THEM MORE!

Placebo are one of my fav bands and that album is great, they make great music + Brian is rather gorgeous

sleeping with ghosts is a good album

and now i hate placebo for doing the d!ckhead over commercial thing of re-releasing the same album after all their fans have bought it with a few bonus tracks

i love 'sleeping with ghosts' i wasnt majorly into placebo, i liked a few songs etc and then i got invited to one of their concerts by m'dear friendypoos porce and it was great, i got at least three treasured/kinky memories from someone in the crowd and countless from Placebo...sigh, *fans self, oh the heat..... rawr! that was one night i will never forget, and now im kinda hooked on the greatness that is placebo!

yeah twas wonderful and pretty...then you abandoned me for that wierd guy and i nearly set audrey on fire...oh the memories...

oh, and on the album side of things i got "black market music" and was totally addicted for about a week...i bought "sleeping with ghosts" a couple of weeks later for the tracks "the bitter end" and "english summer rain" but didnt think itd be anywhere as good as "black market music"...oh i was so wrong...

i just want to say you may have scarre daudrey fo life, and im not talking physical... then again, so may i! they could see me and my not so little friend *ahem.... but placebo = woo!

im gunna get black market music soon, so that sleeping with ghosts wont be lonely!

Their worst album. It's still great, but if you're getting them one at a time I'd advise getting Placebo next, that's bloody fantastic.
